Fantastic hotel. 2 stars, perhaps, but 5 star stay and here's why. The staff: polite, friendly and appeared to really enjoy their job and coworkers. They were happy to answer my questions and offer assistance. The property: well kept, clean and safe with plenty of onsite parkingincluding reserved spots for 1st floor suites.. The room: absolutely updated furnishings, clean linens, fresh paint and an updated clean bathroom I wasn't afraid to take a shower in. The TV and internet worked well (this has been a problem in other hotels for me). Each room has a fridge and microwave which was convenient. Free breakfast: food was hot and good. Great selection of eggs, sausages, toast, muffins, made to order pancakes, coffee selections, cereals, yogurts, juices, fruit and so much more. Pet friendly: made it very easy for me to travel with my companion. Plenty of grassy areas to walk them without leaving the property. There were plenty of conveniences within walking distance including places to eat.

Hotel was very clean and well maintained. It offered a delicious free hot breakfast. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again. 5/5 stars 😁

Parking is the main advantage of this hotel. Convenient location for Imperial Theatre and uptown.
Hotel needs refurbishing, rooms are spartan and not well cleaned. Paid extra for a harbour view but windows look like they have never been cleaned. Curtains have holes and the single chair in the room had not been vacuumed.
Paid extra for breakfast but vouchers were omitted at check-in.

"We had a three night stay and we were upgraded to a 2 bed room cabin. The decore and furniture were dated and worn, but there was ample hot water and water pressure. We had most of our meals in Churchills. The (included) breakfast buffet had many options and the eggs Benedict was the best I've had ..."

"We booked here because they said they have a pool on the booking website and they had a diner on site. The pool has been filled in. So we were bummed we couldn't use it. The diner is seasonal and wasn't open yet they said it doesn't open till June sometime. I wish we had know this we may have stayed ..."
