"I think some thought went into the design of the hotel but the day-to-day operation lets it down completely. Front door doesn’t lock properly, looks like was forced open. Air conditioning doesn’t work, sink leaks and drains onto the floor. No soap in shower. Drapes so close to sink that they get wet every time. Dead insects in drapes and windows. Some parts on room construction unfinished while other finished bits are falling apart."

"Would highly recommend. Very well equipped, beautifully converted French cottage.We had a comfortable stay and everything we needed. Christelle and Lionel were very welcoming and left some lovely,local goodies for us. A peaceful patio area with patio furniture,and parking. Location was perfect.Quite rural but within easy reach to villages for bakeries and restaurants. Charroux is a gorgeous medieval village and only a 7min drive.
