"house was spacious. Area was great for hiker`s, surfer`s and was very hilly with some beautiful beaches and scenery, really good restaurants some on or close to the beaches. Only negative was that the pool wasn`t heated but we used the beach when weather permitted."

The house is spacious, comfortable and has extra useful amenities such as a dishwasher and dryer. The kitchen is brilliantly stocked with all the things you'd need to cook, as well as a great barbeque in the garden."

"Slight negatives first. The property was advertised as pet friendly and with TV/internet. The instructions prior to check in said no pets and no TV. We resolved the first issue but it did cause worry as we were already travelling. There was a modem but the internet signal was weak to the point of being unusable. The only issue with the property was the drainage in one of the bathrooms was poor. Turning on the basin tap and the water returned through the shower outlet. I think it would be helpful...

"The view and the upper floor are nice and were handed over in a clean state. Street parking is available infront of the property. However on the 5th day of our stay, we got a realy nasty surprise. After it had rained a bit during the night, the sewage started pressing up through the showers and toilets on the ground floor. This meant that a horrendous odor was spreading throughout the house. This was the state of things for the remainder of our stay. After some research on the sewage treatment...

De ligstoelen buiten zijn allemaal erg slecht en geplakt met tape, gemeld bij de rental valley. Matras vonden we te hard ( op te lossen met een topper)"

"The house was spacious and clean. The bedrooms were lovely - all large and plenty of space for at least 2 families. The kitchen was a bit tired although had everything you would need. The only thing I would say is you will need to take all your own cleaning products, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, bin liners etc as there were no supplies (some rental places we have been to in the past provide these). "Had a fabulous week. Beautiful beaches, Aljezur is great, an all round lovely location. Sandhills is a peaceful villa with everything you could want, and the kids certainly enjoyed making the most of the pool! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. X"

"Bright, clean house with a cracking pool and outside area. Listing was exactly as described. Owners right next door, but not intrusive. There are no shops or restaurants within walking distance, so a car is essential. But there is plenty within a short drive, including two lovely beaches and several amazing restaurants. The house is fully self-catering, so stop at the big Intermarche in Aljezur on the way in. The house is in the village of Vales de Telha, not in Aljezur itself. We had a lovely...

I booked using Hotels.com, but it was found in Expedia. I panicked when we arrived and I could not find my booking, but there was no problem at hotel "

"Great place to stay. Close to everything amd a short drive to the beaches. Front desk staff was amazing, apartment was spacious and premises were VERY clean! The “Navigator” next door was kind of an eyesore but easy to ignore with the other beautiful views nearby. Definitely recommend. "
