"This was a magical experience! Know you are staying on a farm so it is not about squeaky cleanliness. The room was basic with 3 beds in one room and a couch but it was all we needed to enjoy this unique property with peacock males dancing and showing their plumage and the mothers exhibiting their babies. "Herdade Do Touril is one of the nicest places we have stayed in our many travels around the world. The facilities are quite nice and well maintained. The property is like none other, surrounded by thousands of acres of farmland. It’s quiet, relaxing and one gets a sense of bring “away from it all” and yet there are miles of walking and biking trails along the ocean as well as through the farming areas. "Lovely place to unwind and relax. Loved waking up to the sheep sounds, spending afternoons by the pool and enjoying the sunset in my balcony. Staff were lovely, accommodating and very welcoming and the breakfast was delicious. Would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing get-away."

"Monica and her staff are wonderful, the property is beautiful, quiet and peaceful. Breakfast is delicious and generous. For us, after 3.5 weeks of busy travel this was a perfect location to chill. We hung out during the day at the beaches, returned to shower and go back to town for dinner. It’s only 12 min to town/beach. Great place to stay, highly recommend!"

"Great place to stay. Close to everything amd a short drive to the beaches. Front desk staff was amazing, apartment was spacious and premises were VERY clean! The “Navigator” next door was kind of an eyesore but easy to ignore with the other beautiful views nearby. Definitely recommend. "
