It was perfect for what we needed and the game room kept the kids busy for quite a while. The hosts were very responsive when one of the kitchen cabinet doors came off with the hinge, and sent the caretaker the next day to fix it. "The cabin was located conveniently to the airport and close enough to town to grab groceries, shop, etc., but felt secluded at the same time. We loved the panoramic mountain views. There was a slight miscommunication about the check-in process, but I believe that was on Vrbo's end as the host quickly mitigated the confusion. Next time I vacation in Saranac Lake with a larger group I will be staying here for sure!"

"Our stay to view the totality of the eclipse on 4/8/24 was outstanding. The clouds cooperated and the view from the deck was perfect to watch the moon's slow march across the face of the sun - and then to be plunged into darkness surrounded by the trees and mountains was otherworldly. "This small cabin is quite nice for a couple, and very dog-friendly! With a fire in the wood stove, the cabin gets very toasty. We note that stairs up to the loft are very steep and tight, so they might not be easy for all to navigate."
