Liked the stay. Thought desk staff could be more informed of property amenities, asked if there was a hot tub on the premises and was told she "wasn't sure". Then there was no robe nor slippers in the room and when I inquired I was told I could "rent" a robe for 100 DK.
The walls are quite thin, but there were earplugs in the room, so they are obviously aware of it.
The brunch was very good, Danish smorgasbord, variety of baked goods, several coffee and juice choices, bacon and eggs, boiled eggs, pancakes made to order, etc. and etc. No complaints here (less salt in the eggs though please).
The hot tubs could use a good water maintenance, we have a hot tub at home and I would not use it when water is cloudy.
Other than that, value for the money, location is very nice. Casino slots are very tight, and their food menu consists of a choice of 3 overpriced dishes (fish, a burger or seafood plate). We left the casino and ate in town. Flammen Buffet is great.
Overall, I feel the hotel could use an uplift but for the price I'd give it overall a 3-star.
