"I loved the options of the Amenities. I didn't like when I was in the casino the servers didn't want to approach me to ask did I want a drink even though I was playing the game four hours. It appears they was a little racist."

"I’ve been to many places and many countries, seeing the previous reviews on this property made me definitely lower expectations. The property itself is well taken care of, the rooms are dated, but clean. To be honest, I saved a lot of money booking with Aquarius Resort rather than the Embassy Suites Dorado del Mar. They share the same resort, beach access, some amenities etc and there’s casino w/ table games. I paid the breakfast buffet for 4 for 3 days at the Embassy, it’s the same offerings everyday, for the amount of money they charge which is $21.99 usd (plus tax) I think it’s not worth it. The last day, we went to Tea time Cafe which is below the New York lounge. Their subs and paninis are great and prices are reasonable. I also rented a car, so we were able to go out for dinner and able to see Cueva del Indio and Vega Baja (I think it’s called Playa de Puerta Nueva beach) which is a gem. Overall still a good week, will I return to the resort (or Puerto Rico in general)? Maybe not, but definitely a good experience, and is a proof that you don’t need to overspend on good vacation"

"Absolutely will not be back to this property, as a frequent Hilton Rewards member this experience has been the worst. Our room at no hot water for 24hrs with the engineer saying just let it run. The next day I requested a new room, which was accommodated yet the room was dirty and housekeeping refused to clean it as she stated “she already cleaned it” but offered the cleaning towels and spray for us to clean ourselves. Shower light was broken and key pad battery died leaving us to wait yet again for someone to come and fix something. This property offered back the resort fee as a refund as this stay was over 1400.00 for our stay. Not even willing to give up a full night refund, the stay was not welcoming and very rude. We will not be back to the property which is sad because it really set the tone for Puerto Rico for us and I did not enjoy. "
