Retaining its old-world charm, but completely renovated and very pleasantly furnished. The old walls and vaulted ceilings provide excellent soundproofing and tranquillity. Particularly suitable for family stays. Ski slopes accessible on foot. Comprising a beautiful 40 m² living room with old larch parquet flooring and a Scandinavian wood-burning stove, 3 pleasant bedrooms and a separate kitchen with high-quality, fully equipped appliances. A recently refurbished bathroom and shower room, as well as 2 WCs, one of which is separate, complete the high level of comfort offered by this property. The comprehensive facilities and tasteful décor (antique or rustic furniture) make the living room particularly pleasant and welcoming. Located above the village of Vars Sainte-Marie, the apartment enjoys excellent exposure and unobstructed views of the Forêt Blanche mountain range in both winter and summer. Close to small shops. All activities available on site or at the Vars Les Claux resort. Outside: 250 m² south-southwest facing garden with magnificent views of the Vars valley. Private parking Rates are for 8 people. Rental is from Saturday to Saturday (7 days). It can be arranged outside of school holidays. Discounts are available for stays of 7 days or more. Archival ### 8/10 Good #### Martine P. 18 Sept 2015 #### Très bon séjour Location très agréable, bien située, au calme, avec le charme des bâtisses anciennes mais avec tout le confort actuel . Rien ne manque dans le logement. Une multitude de randonnées à faire dans un cadre magnifique. Dès septembre, les commerces, activités de la station sont fermés ; il faut prévoir ses provisions y compris le pain car la supérette n'est ouverte que 3 fois par semaine. Une fois organisés, nous avons pu passer un excellent séjour. Un grand merci à la propriétaire qui s'est "mise en quatre" pour que notre séjour soit le plus agréable possible. ##### Martine P. Bel appartement chaleureux au centre de Vars, dans une ancienne ferme qui a gardé tout son charme. Les pièces sont spacieuses et le salon superbe. L'ensemble est parfaitement équipé. Le jardin, joliment fleuri, est bien agréable. Nous avons été ravis de nos vacances! ##### Marc E. C'était parfait pour notre séjour à 9 personnes (2 familles). Rien à dire sur l'état de la location et sur la propreté. Accès aux pistes simple et hameau de Sainte Marie vraiment adorable. Appartement très agréable et chaleureux, endroit calme et très bien situé dans le village Nous avons pu appréciés la proximité des commerces et des pistes skiables. Très bien desservis par des navettes gratuites qui permettent de pouvoirs visiter les environs . De très belles vues et de bonnes balades(raquettes,...) pour les personnes qui ne pratique pas le ski en hivers. Les proprietaires sont des personnes très sympathique, a l écoute et disponible en cas de questions diverses. Nous recommandons vivement cette appartement (et je ferai aussi une parenthese pour ce poele norvegien qui est formidable après une journée de ski ,c'est l'un des atouts de ce bel appartement ) ##### alexandra h. Archival ### 10/10 Excellent #### guilhem g. 20 Jun 2014 #### Super CHALET super SKI et un super SOLEIL Pour la 3 eme location dans cet appartement dont le petits aménagements sont fort appréciables, nous avons passé une fois de plus une très agréable semaine, cerise sur le gâteau une très belle météo et de la neige a gogo. Le lieu est bien entretenu et il ne manque rien au niveau équipement. Le plan d'accès était très clair et nous avons trouvé facilement. En un mot parfait. Les navettes gratuites mises en place dans cette localité permettent de ne pas prendre la voiture, cela est un avantage certain. ##### jocelyne c. Archival ### 10/10 Excellent #### Hélène d. 28 Feb 2014 #### Superbe logement L'appartement correspond tout-à-fait à la description et aux photos. Il est extrêmement confortable, aussi bien dans les chambres que dans les pièces à vivre. La chambre des enfants n'est pas immense, mais ils jouent dehors et le salon/salle-à-manger est suffisamment spacieux pour tous. C'est très calme, on n'entend rien autour. Ni les personnes dans les autres appartements. Rejoindre la station de Vars les Claux est très rapide, peu de marche pour se rendre au télésiège. Il y a même une boulangerie quasiment au pied de la bergerie. Séjour tout-à-fait réussi grâce en grande partie à ce lieu.
