A great stay on my trip as a middle crossing point in Geilo, en route to Oslo from Bergen; it is within close walking distance from restaurants/shops, the information centre and of course the train station - as well as both having a restaurant/drinks counter (including tea and Starbucks coffee selections) and a nice swimming pool/jacuzzi/sauna in their building to access was also great for my short stay!
Plus the staff were very nice and helpful when it came to check in/check out
and drink orders. A definite recommend, especially if you're into nature walks, hiking or skiing close by to your accommodation. :)
