It's located on a no-through side street in a safe neighborhood of Richmond. The guest bedroom is only 100 square feet in size with a queen-size bed and an updated private full bathroom. The suite is separated from the main house by a French door. It also has its own entry. Bridgeport sky-train station is less than 10-minute drive away. Bus routes to sky-train station are within walking distance. Other than the host, I am also a working mom with a part-time job. I like smiling, travelling, cooking, meditation and exercising. My interests include music and personal health. As a B&B host, I am privileged of being able to make friends from all over the world. I speak English and Mandarin. The suite is licensed through municipal government. No matter how busy I am, guest experience is always my number one priority.By the way, if you are a senior perfectionist, pls let go of my simple but cost-effective BnB. Spring was a wonderful host. She waited up for us to check in despite our late arrival. The hospitality and willingness to provide assistance in locating local restaurants, grocery stores as well as fun places to visit in Richmond like fisherman's wharf (dont forget to try the grilled fish, chips and gelato ice cream when visiting as recommended by spring. We tried it and was awesome. . The room was cozy and comfortable. The bathroom was also sparkling clean. She was always quick to respond to us and ready to help in anyway.Spring was a friendly and respectful host. Her home is convenient to reach from the airport by taxi (CA $22). Spring provided transportation on our schedule to the Cruise Terminal in her private (luxury) vehicle for the same rate as offered by taxi/rideshare. The room is accessed through the garage service door and is private and comfortable. There are a number of restaurants within 1.5Km walk, or can be reached by taxi. the neighborhood is perfectly safe for walking (we walked to and from restaurants 1.5km away in evening hours with no concern for safety). Spring is personable and helpful, quickly available to assist guests in her home or enroute. Her checkin process was simple and we did not need any assistance from Spring upon arrival to check into the room. ##### Greg N. The place was clean and she has a good security system so we felt safe. She was respectful of our privacy and checked in on us over the Vrbo app a couple of times to ask if our stay was going well. The neighborhood was quiet and we had no issues walking around at night. If you are planning on travelling around a lot and do not have a car, then I highly suggest you be prepared to utilize a combination of the public transit system and a ride-share app. We went all over the area and found that the public transit day pass was the best deal. There is also a public transit phone number you can call and they will help you find routes and explain the system to you. This took us two days to figure out, but we were all over the place after we knew what to do. If we travel back to the area, Spring will be our first choice for lodging. ##### Nicholas L. My sleep was excellent. The bathroom is very clean and modern. But, as mentioned by other reviewers, the smell of petroleum products was overwhelming as we made our way to the room through the garage. I have suggested to her that she just simply move her mixed fuel for her garden tools out to a shed. The smell initially made us want to move, if we had had the chance. The room is very small and is connected with the main part of her house. There was really no security from the house to our room. I suggested a lock on the bedroom door would have gone a long way to help in our feelings of privacy and security for our belongings. That being said, we did sleep well and were able to visit Stanley Park in the morning and return to pick up our belongings, which she kindly let us keep in her garage, before making our way to the airport after an overnight stay before a trip to Europe. Room is not big but you have a lots of privacy. No stairs to climb. Washroom is clean.
