"We stayed at Kartrite Resort from Friday to Sunday for our daughter’s 2nd birthday and had a great experience overall. Originally, we booked two rooms through Expedia, but last minute decided to upgrade and have my mother-in-law stay with us. Despite being a third-party reservation, Demetria and Adam at the front desk were incredibly accommodating, made the change happen fast, and didn’t charge us extra. Amazing service! Our room was spotless, very spacious with a living room & had direct access to an outdoor patio on the ground floor—big plus. The bed was super comfortable, and the pillows were great. They even provided a Pack ‘n Play for our daughter, which was so helpful. The waterpark was super clean (a bit heavy on the chlorine, but no complaints), and had something for everyone—toddler splash zones to big slides. Even we adults had a blast! The arcade, bowling, and rock climbing kept us busy—there was always something to do. Food was hit or miss. Breakfast buffet ($24.99/adult, $14.99/kids over 2) felt overpriced for the limited options. Surfside Grill had solid food—pizza, burgers, hummus, salads—and was fresh during peak times. I wouldn’t recommend early as they aren’t as fresh. Bixby’s for dinner was underwhelming; I’d recommend dining offsite. We went outside and found several great restaurants. The staff throughout the resort were friendly and helpful, and made our stay memorable. Would definitely return for the waterpark and service. Just plan meals wisely!"

"When looking for a hotel to stay at I came across post card cabins . I by-passed them but kept coming back because of the high ratings. Finally I decided to give them a try. What a nice surprise! From the ease of checking in, the cozy, clean, and equipped with everything we need get away!! We would highly recommend it."

"Such a pretty spot! It’s rustic enough to make it feel like a true get-away. We booked this when rain interfered with camping plans. There is much to do within driving distance including fishing and hiking. We brought our pups who enjoyed the deck and yard. There were two other structures right there, so if the owner happens to rent those out too (unknown to me), then you’ll have neighbors. Hopefully owner will correct this review if that’s not the case. Things to know: Bring bug spray and do tick checks on yourself and your dogs before coming inside. The yard is not maintained so the tall grass is tick haven. There is a porcupine out back near the stone wall there. It will spike the dogs if they harass it! The fire pit doesn’t appear to be maintained, as it is surrounded by knee deep grass. It’s next to what appears to be utility lines on the ground and we didn’t want to chance melting them if we started a campfire. Kitchen and bathroom are tiny. Which is fine, but just be aware. My guy is 6’2” and could barely get up and down the ladder from the bathroom to the loft upstairs. The composting toilet was getting full and the smell wafted up to the loft. We didn’t meet the host but in all contact with him, he was kind, responsive and welcoming. His listing is 100% accurate. With a few improvements to this super cute property, it would definitely be a five star from me! The view makes it all worth it! Thanks for the getaway!"
