"Six girlfriends stayed at Bellavista for five nights. We thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful home, pool, surrounding towns, shopping, restaurants. Laurie was wonderful to work with before we arrived, her tour on our arrival and she texted every day to check in and wish us well. The house was more than enough space and provided several spaces for gathering plus room for quiet time. We loved the large pool and screened in porch. The well stocked kitchen was a popular gathering space with access straight out to the beautifully landscaped patio and pool. We would recommend this property to anyone who would like to visit this beautiful part of our country. Finally, thank you to Laurie who recommended Chef Paul who prepared a delicious meal for us the night we arrived. From appetizers, entrees and dessert the meal was fantastic. We arrived, settled in, enjoyed a chef prepared meal and began our terrific five day girls trip! Thank you Laurie and Chef Paul."

"The house and property were great. The kitchen was very well stocked. Our host responded quickly to any questions. I loved all of the brochures that gave us great information about the area. Our only negative was that the pool wasn't heated. The week we were there was cooler otherwise it wouldn't have mattered. Pool floats were provided along with plenty of beach towels. We had a great stay."

"What an amazing property! We just spent 3 nights here for a family vacation, all 20 of us. This home ended up being the perfect place for us. It was spotless, each room is nicer than the next, and there is so much space for everyone to spread out. We spent most of our time outside - between the patio, the pool, the pavilion, the outdoor kitchen/living rm with TVs, the firepits, there was so much to do. Not to mention the basketball and pickleball courts, which were a big hit. The kayaks and dock were amazing, and first ride out on the kayaks there was a bald eagle sighting! One night we had a pizza night, which was so fun. I didn’t think a pizza could cook in 90 seconds, but it did! Lots of fun memories that night. Let’s not forget about that amazing game room, which was a huge hit with our family (my sister thinks she’s getting a Grammy for her karaoke performance). Finally, the host, Jody, was absolutely amazing to work with. He was so helpful throughout our stay and was always available to answer our questions. You can tell he takes great pride in the home, as the amenities and attention to detail really stood out. We can’t wait to go back and are already discussing next year. Overall, would highly recommend!"

"House was great but no air conditioning vents downstairs. Maybe not feasible due to age of house. One or two large fans would have helped. Great location and well stocked in every room. Plenty of parking area if you need it."

"Great house.Interesting details, lots of space, 2 dining rooms which was great for our bigger group.Location was incredible.Right on the lake.10 min drive to Kinderhook village and so many amazing pick your own farms and farm stands. A performance center and a skulputre park within 15 min drive.The kitchen was fully stocked and had everything you need.We enjoyed the wrap around porch with a lake view.Matt, the host, was so responsive.All questions were answered practically instantenously.Great weekend for us."

"The place exceeded expectations. Clean, cute space. Roomier than expected. Hot tub was on and at a good temperature. The Main Street with restaurants and bars is literally a 4 minute walk, yet the house feels secluded in a good way. Really enjoyed our stay."
