"We incredibly loved our stay at La Terrera. The hosts were so very kind and accommodating, and we never found ourselves wanting for anything that wasn't already provided. "Our family of 4 (with children aged 17 and 14) really enjoyed our five nights at Finca los Llanos. The setting is great, on the edge of town, so easy to get into Capileira, which is really pretty and has lots of nice places to eat. We loved being up in the mountains with great views all around. It is also the perfect base to take the national park bus up to hike to the summit of Mulhacen, which was one of the highlights of our stay. We enjoyed the outdoor spaces of the hotel, particularly the pool and pool bar, where the staff were always friendly and helpful. Rooms are fairly simple but nice especially as we wanted to spend most of our time outside anyway."

"Beautiful place but need to go into it thinking it’s more like an Airbnb. Do Your shopping before you arrive as there is nothing there. The onsite restaurant is amazing but not open often. No breakfast included even though on booking it says it is. You’ll need to buy essentials like milk, coffee, tea, basically everything food wise but it has its own kitchen and fridge freezer and cutlery etc. Amazing views Pool great Waterfall appreciated ! We booked the jacuzzi room and it was lovely. Sleep With shutters closed as you’ll hear every dog and cockerel within miles in the valley. It can be peaceful but not from 04:30!! The air conditioning was welcoming and worked well and was quiet. There’s alot of flies but we bought a huge can of spray to keep them at bay in the apartment. The room doesn’t get cleaned daily but that was fine with us as it didn’t need doing. There is one guy (Jose) who looks after the whole area who speaks no English but very friendly and as helpful as he can be. But I was on WhatsApp with the owner who would relay messages to Jose. If you walk down into the village square (5mins) there is a wonderful kiosk that does great Tapas etc and the locals frequent it nightly which shows how good it is. You’ll need google translate and it is perfectly Spanish speaking only. We went often as the food was wonderful. The prices were extremely low. All in all, we would definitely go back."

"Overall, I really enjoyed my stay. Lady on reception who checked me in and out was really nice, as was the guy who helped me in the Ski Room. The hotel is really nice, especially the spa. The lady who helped me in the spa was also super accommodating as I didn’t realize I had to pre-book a slot. I stayed in room 3111, I paid for an upgrade and ‘The Level’ package. My room was pretty nice, there were a few small things that would have made my stay better. There was a lightbulb flickering in the lounge. The room had twin beds, but one of the beds was lower and also shorter and length than the other. Which wouldn’t be ideal if you were traveling as a couple. The TV in the bedroom should be put on a bracket so you can angle it towards the bed. Also the suite had a kitchenette, but there was no cutlery in the cupboards. With these small fixes my stay would have been perfect. The breakfast was great too, as were all the staff I encountered in the breakfast room. Will stay again for sure! "
