hidden paradise

The house is lovely situated within a hilly countryside near the vezere river. You are almost separated from the busy tourist streams you find somewhere further south in the Périgord.We really loved it therefor - and if you want - you can always get there. The house itself provides you with everything needed for an independent holiday, has a fully equipped kitchen, enough space and leaves nothing to be missed. We really loved the great, covered terasse, which is a nice feature, when it rains. A bit apart from the building is the large and heated (!) pool, which I found even big enough to perform some serious swim training. In terms of sport - the area is one of the best I ever experienced for race cycling. Hilly roads, you're almost alone, it was such a pleasure to ride there. We´d definitely would come back !

Nous avions été enchantés de notre séjour en 2024, nous sommes revenus cette année. Endroit superbe, gîte très bien placé pour les multiples visites et activités à faire aux alentours. La piscine est superbe, chauffée et bien aménagée. Merci encore Sandrine pour sa gentillesse et le panier local trop savoureux.

Gîte très confortable, bien équipé, très propre, situé en pleine nature, en lisière de forêt. Tout en haut d’une grande prairie plantée de quelques fruitiers, une magnifique et grande piscine, idéalement exposée au soleil, et pour nous tout seuls! La région est exceptionnelle par sa gastronomie, ses sites touristiques, sa nature préservée et y être hébergés dans de telles conditions a rendu pour nous ce séjour parfait et inoubliable. Merci à Sandrine pour la chaleur de son accueil et sa gentillesse. Nous reviendrons certainement.

Calme et bien placé

Le gîte est très bien placé pour les nombreuses visites et activités aux alentours tout en étant au calme. Il est aménagé et décoré avec goût. Pour les chambres à l'étage, si le canapé est déplié, il ne reste qu'un petit passage pour circuler. Une climatisation à l'étage serait un plus pour l'été, les ventilateurs ont bien aidé. La piscine est superbe, chauffée et bien aménagée. Un grand espace jeux pour les enfants et un grand terrain. Merci à Sandrine pour le savoureux panier local de bienvenue. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour.

Perfect vakantieverblijf.

Wij hebben met twee gezinnen enorm genoten in deze villa! De villa was goed schoon en zeer netjes!! Complimenten Sandrine! Omgeving is ook veel te doen. Ook is er genoeg rond de villa te doen zo als een zwembad, speel toestellen enz. Enige minpunt; geen airco en geen horren. Het koelt in de nacht wel goed af maar horren zou dan prettig zijn.

Very nice cottage and pool - perfect in every detail

The 50 m2 pool is great, the size of the garden is huge - and it is nice and quiet all day long. The cottage is perfectly equipped down to every detail, e.g. dishwasher tabs, and even ice in the fridge. We had some very minor things to remediate (e.g. broken badminton rackets), and it was resolved within less than a day - great host. The fact that the second cottage was just adjacent to ours did not disturb at all. There were no guests, but they also had a completely independent and opposite part of the garden, including pool, BBQ and kids playground. Really a great space for kids. We would much look forward to return soon and explore the Valley of Dordogne and Vezere (the cradle of mankind) further. It was a magnificent stay.

Lovely stay

We spent a week and a half here in the early summer. The pool was fantastic, clean and warm, and our baby loved it! If you are coming with a baby/toddler, the pool is fenced off and up a low hill so you do not have to worry about them accessing it without you. There's a lovely semi-shaded area and plenty of deckchairs up there as well The outside table, BBQ and table tennis were all great, and we used them a lot. The whole place was comfortable enough to relax in and linger, but shops, cafes and restaurants only 15mins away in Montignac. We recommend the community shop in Valojoulx too.

Charmant gîte entre amis

Nous sommes arrivés à la nuit et avons adoré ce côté très coconing. Rien ne manque, plai pour se réchauffer le soir, tranquillité, we nature, malgré la Toussaint, nous avons profité d un magnifique soleil, et profité de la terasse très bien exposé.

Endroit idéalement situé dans le Périgord nord. Hôte accueillante avec un panier de bienvenue apprécié. Gîte bien équipé et décoré avec goût. La piscine est grande et chauffée ce qui était un plus lors de notre séjour.

Points positifs : - Localisation : à moins de 45 minutes des principaux sites du Périgord Noir et à 10 minutes d’une grande surface - Propreté irréprochable, maison et piscine - Équipement maison/enfants bas âge (aimable mise à disposition lits parapluie, rehausseur, chaise haute) - Superbe espace piscine sécurisé (néanmoins un peu éloigné de la maison) et espaces extérieurs agréables Points négatifs : - Wifi faible et discontinu - Chambres petites - Température anormalement étouffante dans la chambre principale alors que les températures extérieures étaient modérées lors de notre séjour - Clôture électrique à l'extrémité du jardin sans aucune signalisation ; notre fille de 2 ans a eu l'occasion de le découvrir en jouant au ballon - Rapport qualité-prix
