The property had the advantage of a lovely pool (shared with other guests) which was fantastic as temperatures exceeded 35 degrees while we were there. The cottage was in a lovely quiet village and we purchased a lot of local produce from the Co-op cabin situated in the village square - well worth a visit. Wir waren mit 4 Personen (2 Erwachsenen, 2 Kindern) in Valojoulx und haben das Ferienhaus L\`Oustal bewohnt. Es ist mit allem was notwendig ist, ausgestattet. Besonders vorheben möchte ich, dass eine Waschmaschine und Möglichkeiten zum Trocknen und Bügeln der Wäsche vorhanden sind, was ich eher selten von Ferienwohnungen kenne. Es gibt einen riesigen Garten mit genug Schattenplätzen bei heißem Wetter, Spielgeräte für groß und klein und einen sauberen kindersicheren Pool. Die Vermieterin und ihre Familie sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit und Valojoulx ist ein super Ausgangspunkt, um die zahlreichen Sehenswürdigkeiten des Perigord Noir zu besuchen. Wenn ich gefragt werde, was noch zu verbessern ginge, würde ich sagen: Vielleicht nochmal ein oder zwei neuere Töpfe/ Pfanne oder Kleinigkeiten für die Küche aber sonst alles in allem.... ein gelungener Urlaub. Magali and her family offered a great welcome and were on hand throughout for any small problems or local advice. The gite itself was characterful and ideal for our needs, whilst the outside eating area and barbecue were just perfect. The swimming pool and gardens are great for families and couples. The small village of Valojoulx is a tranquil location but close to larger towns and various activities. However, the village comes alive every Friday evening with the "food market" which offers local produce, freshly cooked meals and the chance to meet many of the locals. A must do ! L'environnement est verdoyant et incroyablement calme. La petite route communale qui traverse le bourg n'est ni dangereuse, ni passante. Aucun danger ni nuisances sonores. Tout est paisible, c'est la campagne! Quant aux gites proposées par Magali SANFOURCHE, ils sont nombreux, propres, fonctionnels et répondent à tous les types de configuration familiale. Chaque gite propose des espaces extérieurs privatifs qui garantissent le fait que chacun soit chez soi. Que vous veniez seul ou en nombre, il existe toujours une réponse à votre besoin. Nous fréquentons le jardin d'Eden depuis 2011 avec plaisir à raison de deux séjours par an. Nous apprécions de plus en plus le lieu et tous les aménagements et améliorations apportés chaque année. Le jardin est immense, sécurisé, plein de coins sympas pour lire, dormir, jouer et se baigner (piscine chauffée) Et que dire de l'accueil: personnalisé, attentif, sur mesure et toujours désireux de répondre aux besoins. Celui-ci a beaucoup de cachet, est très bien équipé et convient parfaitement à une famille avec 2 enfants. Sans parler de la piscine (bien sécurisée) et du parc aménagé qui ont fait le bonheur de nos 2 fils ! Il est par ailleurs, très bien situé géographiquement, permettant ainsi de partir à la découverte des nombreuses richesses de la région. Nous avons séjourné aux jardins d 'Eden à Valojoulx, ensemble de plusieurs gîtes, très bien isolés les uns des autres, ce qui permet à chaque locataire d'avoir sa tranquillité. Situation géographique idéale : beaucoup de sites à visiter dans un rayon de 20 km (Grottes de Lascaux, Roche Saint-Christophe, Les Eyzies, Grotte du Grand Roc, abris préhistoriques, nombreux châteaux,...). Outre les visites, également beaucoup d'activités possibles dans les environs, avec ou sans enfants (canoé, accrobranche, randonnées, ...) Nous avons occupé le gîte l'Oustal. Le gîte a énormément de cachet, il est décoré avec soin par les propriétaires, Magali et Manu, alliant un mélange d'authenticité et de modernité (salle de bain refaite, WIFI, ...). Il est bien équipé (tv, électroménager, rangements, vaisselle, ...), suffisamment spacieux pour 4\. La piscine chauffée, clôturée et munie d'un système d'alarme, est un vrai régal. Archival ### 10/10 Excellent #### Céline L. 25 Aug 2015 #### A recommander ! Je reviens d'un séjour de deux semaines dans le Périgord Noir, avec mon mari et mes 2 enfants. Nous avons séjourné aux jardins d 'Eden à Valojoulx, ensemble de plusieurs gîtes, très bien isolés les uns des autres, ce qui permet à chaque locataire d'avoir sa tranquillité. Les jardins d'Eden sont très bien situés : énormément de sites à visiter dans un rayon de 20 km (grottes de Lascaux, site préhistorique Le Thot, Roque Saint-Christophe, Montignac, Les Eyzies, grottes du Grand Roc, abris préhistoriques, etc etc...). Beaucoup d'activités possibles avec ou sans les enfants (canoé, randonnées, accrobranche, etc...) De très bons restaurants typiques dans les environs, style ferme auberge, recommandés par les propriétaires, avec excellent rapport qualité prix. Nous avons occupé le gîte l'Oustal. Le gîte a énormément de cachet, il est décoré avec soin par les propriétaires, alliant un mélange d'authenticité et de modernité (salle de bain refaite, WIFI, ...). Il est bien équipé (tv, électroménager, rangements, vaisselle, ...), suffisamment spacieux pour 4\. La piscine chauffée, clôturée et munie d'un système d'alarme, est un vrai régal.
