Starting point for many hikes, the most famous Mount Tabor or more accessible Green Lake and its wonderful color that gave it its name (to find) After the trail from the cottage, the river is the kingdom of children for the construction of dams, rafts and playground. Nous étions 6 adultes, un enfant de 4 ans et un chien . Nous avons passé un agréable séjour, tout y était et nous n’avons manqué de rien ! Le chalet est chaleureux, cosy, parfait pour les amoureux du rustique tout en ayant le confort que nous avons besoin. L’emplacement était pour nous idéal, à 5 min du club piou piou et du tire fesse, nous pouvions même revenir en ski jusqu’à la porte Un peu de sport tout de même pour amener les bagages (environ 10 min) mais vraiment le paysage a l’arrivée et le calme en valent la peine ! Le logement correspond très bien à la description, et est très bien équipé. Nous avons apprécié pouvoir faire du feu en rentrant du ski!Les indications pour arriver au logement étaient très claires. Si on ne connait pas les lieux , il est sans doute préférable d'y arriver de jour (ce qui était notre cas). Dommage qu'il n'y ait pas de casier à skis pour laisser les skis en sécurité lorsqu'on ne skie pas.La situation du chalet est vraiment top, mais le départ avec retour des affaires à la voiture est très sportif, surtout dans la neige fraîche ! Aménagé avec goût dans une bâtisse ancienne, à 50m de la piste de ski Neuvache et à 7 min à pied du centre de la station, dans un petit hameau : calme absolu et immersion dans la nature enneigée ! Le logement est très bien équipé, assez spacieux jusqu'à 6 personnes (sûrement un peu juste à 8)... et que dire des fins de journée au coin du poële ! Délicieux... Une seule suggestion d'amélioration : peut-être envisager de remplacer le matelas du lit double, qui commence à fatiguer un peu (nous sommes très tatillons sur le sujet !). Petit gîte très bien situé pour randonner, dans un endroit à la fois retiré par rapport au village touristique et tout près des départs de rando, donc idéal. L'appartement est confortable et très bien équipé, la pièce principale est spacieuse et agréable. Une belle semaine à la montagne, même si les remontées étaient fermées à cause du covid : randonnées le long des torrents, initiation au snowboard, déjeuner au soleil sur la terrasse, luge, raclette... ##### Carole E. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à Valmeinier. Le chalet est encore mieux en vrai que sur les photos. Situation exceptionnelle si vous aimez le calme, tout en restant à proximité du centre de la station. La vue est magnifique. Le chalet est très bien équipé (particulièrement la cuisine). A la montagne, les locations sont bien souvent exiguës. Ce n'est pas du tout le cas ici. Vous avez un vrai salon ainsi qu'un vrai espace pour manger. Chaque recoin a été optimalisé afin d'offrir le plus d'espace de rangement possible. Pas besoin de prendre sa voiture pour quoi que ce soit. Tout peut être fait depuis le chalet (randonnées - activités diverses - courses). Si vous avez des enfants, nous vous conseillons d'aller faire un tour à Valmigliss. Pour faire vos courses, nous vous déconseillons le Spar à Valmeinier 1800 (peu de choix - rayons à moitié vides). Allez directement dans le haut de la station, chez Sherpa ou 8 à Huit. Pour les repas à emporter, nous vous conseillons Ski Food, à Valmeinier 1800, à côté du spar. Vous y trouverez des pizzas et des pâtes faites maison. Excellent et la patronne est tellement gentille et souriante. Bref, nous avons passé un agréable séjour à Valmeinier. ##### Sarah M. Il faut aimer marcher et être isolé. Pas d’accès voiture à moins d’avoir un 4x4\. Vue magnifique. Une quinzaine de repos assuré loin de la surpopulation! Nous avons adoré. ##### Laurent L. Le chalet se trouve dans un coin de verdure loin des voitures, idéal avec des enfants.Nos 4 petits enfants ont adoré le chalet "c'était comme la maison du père noël. La localisation du chalet permet de passer des vacances au cœur de la nature, skis au pieds. La communication avec le gérant et la propriétaire pendant le séjour étaient parfaits. La seule remarque que nous pourrions émettre est la qualité de la literie dans le canapé-lit. Le matelas pourrait être changé. Sinon, un très beau séjour ! ##### Estelle N.
