"A great place to stay if you are visiting the wineries in La Rioja. Berta and her husband were wonderful and the room was very comfortable and clean. We initially stayed 2 nights and when we decided to change our plans and stay one more night, they were very nice and accommodating. The town is adorable with a big castle and cathedral in the middle of town. There is only one restaurant that gets very lively on the weekend with all the locals. Only 15 minutes from Haro which had more restaurants...

"Our group of four spent two wonderful nights here in Sajarazza hosted by Lourdes. We had great communicaiton in Spanish and English in preparation for our stay. The house is large (3 floors plus a wine cellar) with space for everyone. Parking is right outside on a cul-de-sac street. The stone construction meant that the first floor was cool, although the upper floors where the bedrooms are located can be quite a bit warmer. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine and a brief tour of the property....

"This was a great place to stay on our recent trip to the Basque country and Rioja; in a small village in the rolling hills before the mountains which is also on the Camino trail. Rosario is an excellent host with really good advice on places to visit, where to dine, Bodegas etc. She recommended we went to Escaray for the evening which was a lovely detour up into the nearby mountain range."
