Eigenlijk was er maar één minpuntje; de trappen omhoog naar de derde verdieping maar daardoor heb je wel een prachtig uitzicht vanaf het balkon. Het appartement is kompleet qua inrichting en de ontvangst door de eigenaren hartelijk en informatief. De omgeving is prachtig met mooie natuur, bergen en leuke plaatsjes. Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine bien remplie. L'appartement est agréable et cosy (à part les escaliers surtout lorsque l'on est chargé...mais cela fait de l'exercice en plus!!!). Il est conçu pour le couchage de 2 adultes et plutôt 2 enfants (pour le coin montagnard!!). Sinon RAS en ce qui concerne l'équipement. Le Balcon avec la superbe vue est très agréable et nous avons bien pu en profiter étant donné que le temps était au beau fixe durant notre séjour. We visited in mid June and found the apartment as described, and especially well equipped. The access and other guidance from Philippe and Francoise was clear and the communications with them worked well. We were just two, one in each taking a room, but the apartment would equally suit a small family or couple with friends. As we came to kayak the local rivers, it was excellently well located, with some of the region's best rivers on the doorstep and many others within a short drive, say 30km. Conditions during our week were perfect, with excellent weather and generous water levels. The apartment would be good for many local activities; walking, climbing, or simply exploring the area. The view from the balcony is fabulous and it is a great place to have a beer in the late afternoon and evening sun. Being on the third floor we found it caught the breeze well. The balcony overlooked the Gyr valley to the high mountains to the West and those to the south and North. The village was quiet in June, but offered some restaurants and shops for groceries, essentials and newspapers. However, the larger village of Vallouise is a short (2km) drive away with a more comprehensive range of shops. There are good footpaths to and from Vallouise on both sides of the river and it takes about 25 - 30 minutes at a good pace. Briancon and Argentierre-La-Besse are also close (c17km) with a greater range of shops and restaurants. Another charming feature of the village and the region was how helpful people were when we needed guidance. A great holiday, thank you. ##### John R. La vue est superbe. Il faut un peu marcher pour se rendre à la station, ce qui nécessite un peu d'organisation surtout avec des petits, mais la ballade par le chemin est charmante. Nouveauté cette année : une bibliothèque partagée dans les parties communes de la résidence où chacun peut venir emprunter ou mettre à disposition, livres, magazines ou jeux de société. Nous pratiquons beaucoup la montagne en été et en hiver. Nous avons découvert l'agrément de cette région à cette époque de l'année. Une superbe semaine de Toussaint ou nous avons pu faire de très belles randonnées, profitez des nombreuses via-ferrata de la région. Nous reviendrons surement. à cette période ou à une autre, Région et location à recommander. PS à l'attention des propriétaires : veillez à donner plus de précisions pour trouver l'appartement à l'arrivée. L'appartement est propre, bien entretenu et au calme. Il y a tout le nécessaire pour passer un séjour agréable. Il est lumineux avec un grand balcon et une vue magnifique. Le propriétaire était disponible (échanges au téléphones et par sms ). J'ai déjà recommandé la location à des amis qui comme moi, sont des randonneurs. La région et la situation de l'appartement permettent de faire des randonnées avec dénivelés à travers des paysages divers ( marmottes en sus!) . il y a également plusieurs villages authentiques avec des circuits plus doux permettant de découvrir l'architecture locales et l histoire de la région. Bref pas de quoi s'ennuyer lorsqu'on aime bouger et même aprés une rando engagée, un bouquinage l’après midi sur le balcon au soleil...c'est royal! ##### Marlène P.
