"Such a cute little cabin that’s just right for two people. We spent two nights for my husband’s birthday. It’s very close to all the good breweries, Blue Mountain, Hazy Mountain, etc. But it’s also off the road and very secluded. The bed is super comfortable. There was a little welcome basket with goodies and hand sanitizer, tissues. I’d definitely stay here again."

"I did not pay close attention to the pictures that were posted to realize that this was a tiny house, so I was surprised when we arrived. I am not sure how comfortable this cabin would have been for 4 people. There was only seating for 2 in front of the TV and only a bar with 3 stools to eat. The inside was very nice with beautiful wood paneling and beams. The kitchen cabinets were gorgeous. We loved the screened in porch (despite the fact that it needed to be swept out - many dead small bugs and spider webs) and spent much of our time there. I would have appreciated a hall tree or hook on the wall to hang long items. We were in the area to attend a formal wedding, and I ended up hanging my long dress on the curtain rod. The king size bed in the loft was difficult to maneuver in and out of because of the very low ceiling. The coffee bar was a nice touch. Christie was a great host and answered my questions in a very timely manner. We appreciated her letting us check in early."

"The Lewis Catherine House in Afton is a beautifully restored Virginia farmhouse, located in the heart of Virginia wind country outside of Charlottesville. The home is furnished with thoughfulness and an obvious love for the place. There is plenty of room for extended family to relax in comfort. Lindsay was a lovely host and very accommodating when our plans changed slightly. Would recommend without hesistation."

"Loved this property! We live in a resort town by the beach and just wanted to escape the traffic and congestion. This was the perfect property for our getaway! I couldn’t wait to turn the A/C down so the gorgeous cross breeze could roll in from the wooden screen doors while I cooked breakfast and enjoyed the mountain views. We sat on the front porch sipping wine and watching the heat lightening and fireflies after our long drive in. And the gardens … literally everything I remember from my childhood … from magnolias and morning glories to Rose of Sharon and redbud. Not to mention the location .., right in the middle of so many wineries! Such a good trip!"
