The trip was relaxing and it had a wonderful set up. It was a nice alcove but there was nothing around it to go to as far as I was concerned.

Very Unique, Yet Enjoyable
REHL stands for Rancho Equine Hermanos Lopez - Basically the Lopez brothers horse ranch. It is truly an operating horse stable and rodeo facility with a good restaurant, two very nice pools (swim up bar, water falls and slides), and clean, comfortable and new motel rooms. The staff is very friendly, but speaks almost exclusively Spanish. There are lots of outdoor activities: whitewater rafting, horseback riding, zip lining, etc.. in the area and they will pick you up and deliver you back to REHL. Also a half hour drive to La Fortuna and all the Arenal activities. A very unique "hotel," but was a very enjoyable base camp for our family of four.

A Jewel in the country
Pleasantly surprised….great restaurant, great & separate bar with dancing, but especially the huge horse arena and program of in this case a competition as a dressage or best in show Great Energy!!

Realmente Decepcionado del lugar...
Realmente muy decepcionados como familia , hace dos años estuvimos ahí y realmente el lugar y la atención excelentes , pero este año diciembre 2018 volvimos con las mismas expectativas pero realmente nos pasaron cosas que dejan mucho que desear, primero íbamos mi esposa que está embarazada de 7 meses , mi hija de 4 años y yo , solicitamos una cama adicional y nos dieron una habitación así al ingreso pero luego nos pasaron a otra habitación de camas individuales y dormimos súper mal y a la mitad de la noche nos abrieron el cuarto por otros huéspedes que tenían la misma llave, además nos extraviaron los cepillos de dientes y un vestido de baño al realizar el cambio de habitación. Por otro lado decidimos comer en el restaurante y esperamos casi 1 hora por tres platos y eso que el lugar estaba prácticamente vacío. Realmente no fue la mejor experiencia en este hotel, espero puedan mejorar y dar un mejor servicio, ya que dormimos muy mal , nos asustaron en la noche mientras dormíamos al abrirnos la puerta y nos extraviaron pertenecías y los servicios de restaurante fatales Gracias Atte: Álvaro García Ruiz
