The Gable Dingle

"Wonderful hotel near the heart of the town. It was about a 15-minute walk to the harbor, and less than that to many shops & pubs. The rooms were small but very nice, with comfy beds and AC. Area felt very safe. It was more expensive than we usually pay, but it was worth the convenience and nice rooms. We got coffee & breakfast at the cafe downstairs. Staff was very friendly & helpful. The only issue was the site mentioned free on-site parking but that wasn't the case. There was no hotel lot, and the staff said they usually direct guests to nearby free parking, but it was the weekend of the marathon, so the town was packed & the usual sites were full. We were very lucky to find an open spot on the street right outside the hotel!"

"We had a group of eight that stayed two nights. We enjoyed the breakfast offered both mornings. Staff were friendly, rooms were clean, and we enjoyed our stay. Would stay again."

"First room we were given was in the old part of the hotel and it was small and in need of modernisation. We were disappointed as we’d paid €586 for 2 nights B&B for our wedding anniversary and it didn’t justify the price. However after speaking to reception we were given a much bigger junior suite room for our 2nd night which we were happier with. The restaurant food was very good for dinner and the waiting staff were great. Great views of Dingle Bay from the modern restaurant. 10min walk into Dingle which was a great place to explore."

"The breakfast room was bright and cheery with the option of French press coffee. The home-made waffles with real maple syrup was my fave. The young couple running the Inn were so nice and their son was turning 1 year old that day! Portmagee is a charming base to explore the area. I hope to return!"

"Excellent place, love the twin beds for our family, shower was perfect, breakfast was top notch especially the scrambled eggs, the on site pub was great, Johnny at the pub, Jennie excellent breakfast server. We’d definitely stay there again"
