Small room, awful closet, and no view
I expected better from a hotel called a palace. The room was very small and my room was at the back of a corridor and when I walked in it smelled of sewer, so perhaps a room they don't use often. When I went to the window, it was three feet from the other building, but no daylight, anything. The closet was not female friendly as there was no where to hang a dress or anything longer than a t-shirt. I had to hang my dresses over the chair. I asked for an iron/Ironing board, nothing...so basically deal with wrinkly clothes. The breakfast was okay, and it was quiet.
Staff was pleasant, but seemed harried. There never seemed enough people at the front desk.
I travel a lot and have never given this poor a rating to a hotel.
