"The hosts, Flo and Caro, were most welcoming and helpful. The rental is an entire floor in their renovated farmhouse - separate from the family's living space. It was so comfortable, so well-equipped. The village is small and rural, but very close to the larger town of Salins-le-Bains. The scenery is spectacular. Many local hiking trails nearby. We stayed for almost four weeks. It was very healing. We would definitely book again."

"We wanted a place away from the urban area and this farm house didn’t disappointed us. It is a lovely house made of beautiful and expensive wood. We had to go through very adventurous mountain roads which we loved. Good facilities to have for a self catering location. Don’t expect a big market within few miles in the area. The owner Mr Burger who also lives next door has a very friendly and good personality."

"My group of 16 friends had an amazing week at Chateau de la Loue! Where should I start? The grounds were beautiful and so tranquil. The interior was spacious and comfortable. The huge dining room table was one of our favorite spots! All of us could easily gather together and enjoy a leisurely meal together. The outdoor dining area was also amazing and made for a beautiful place to dine, drink and enjoy the twilight hours. There was plenty of space in the kitchen for a small group to prepare...

Due to a storm, there was no WIFI connection available, which we didn't know about up front, it would have been good to have been updated on this as some people in the group had some work/studying to do. It took 30 mins to exit car park with hotel issued tickets which fail to raise exit barrier. Separately, wifi not accessible . Not acceptable in today’s age. Hotel layout weird and signage to some rooms disappears long before you’re close to room. I would not return to this hotel."
