The staff was great. The room was clean and comfortable. It is within 45 minutes of 4 great ski areas. It's not the Ritz but the price is right.

Grand Hyatt Vail Resort and Spa
It looks like the entire hotel is run by inexperienced personnel. Service in all restaurants and bars is incredibly poor. The only good things about this property are the location and the private lift.

Residence Inn by Marriott Vail
It was very nice place with convenient shuttles to ski resort. The only issue it was very noisy that we could hear the cars from balcony room despite earplugs.
