First of all, the pictures don’t highlight the tru magic of this place, it’s perfectly set out to allow everyone their own bathrooms as well as two kitchen spaces (if using the entire premises. Monique is by far the best host we have encountered on a stay, she got involved with the surprise we had set for my fiancé at every step over the days we stayed. She went above on beyond with our requests, and did more than we could have asked for, it was Monique who turkey made this stay magical. The sunset here is perfect, the pool amazing, the bed I didn’t expect to have such comfortable sleep but everyone slept wonderfully. The kitchens have all the equipment you need. We have now found our home away from home. We cannot wait to return. Monique… Merci Beaucoup!

Lovely lovely property. Beautiful well furnished house with en-suite bathrooms. Decor is tasteful, and well suited to south of France. Wonderful outdoor spots for eating, games, pool side fun. Monique was very accommodating, helpful, answered questions, and treated us to a wine tasting. The stay was overall above our expectations Would definitely return.

Family reunion at Mas de Fontbonne

Our family group of 8 adults and 2 small children enjoyed our visit at Mas de Fontbonne immensely. We would come again. The house is nice and large. The pool and patio is fantastic. Monique and Jacques Bertrand are attentive hosts. They provided the baby crib and high chair we needed. We very much appreciated our wine tasting and tour of Domaine des Fontnobles, which is the Bertrand's winery. We highly recommend you stay at this villa!

De la gentillesse de nos hôtes jusqu'à la qualité des lieux tout a été impeccable du début à la fin. La maison est grande et les équipements à la fois modernes et de belle facture, les chambres avec salles de bains individuelles apportent un vrai comfort. We loved our holiday in Vacqueyras! / Nous avons adoré nos vacances à Vacqueyras!

Set amid olive groves and vineyards, this lovely old farmhouse (which has been in Jacques’ family for generations), has been lovingly modernised and extended to a very high standard. We are a 3 – generation family, and every one of us had the space and facilities to do what we wanted. The Pool is overlooked by the kitchen and most of the bedrooms, so is ideal for supervising younger members of the family. There was plenty of outside space for our grandsons to run and play, and indoor and sheltered outdoor sitting and eating areas, as well as a huge extension which we could have used for dining, but instead used for a game of Risk which lasted 4 days! I think the favourite moments for us all were the beautiful sunsets over the rolling vineyards, and the evening games of “volleyball” in the pool. Try and make time for a visit to Jacques and Monique’s newly extended winery – it is so impressive, and the wine is fantastic. Neither Monique nor Jacques speak English, so it was helpful that we spoke a little French. Située au milieu des oliveraies et des vignobles, cette charmante ancienne ferme (appartenant à la famille de Jacques depuis des générations) a été modernisée avec amour et étendue à un très haut niveau. Nous sommes une famille de 3 générations et chacun de nous avait l'espace et les installations nécessaires pour faire ce que nous voulions. La piscine est dominée par la cuisine et la plupart des chambres. Elle est donc idéale pour surveiller les plus jeunes membres de la famille. Il y avait beaucoup d'espace extérieur pour que nos petits-fils puissent courir et jouer, ainsi que des aires de repos et de restauration extérieures couvertes et abritées, ainsi qu'une immense extension que nous aurions pu utiliser pour manger, mais qui a duré 4 jours. ! Je pense que les moments préférés pour nous tous étaient les magnifiques couchers de soleil sur les vignobles et les jeux de soirée de volleyball dans la piscine. Essayez de prendre le temps de visiter la nouvelle cave de Jacques et de Monique - elle est impressionnante et le vin est fantastique. Ni Monique ni Jacques ne parlent anglais, il était donc utile que nous parlions un peu le français.

If you are looking for a beautifully redone home, all modern plumbing,, kitchen,, pool, nice king beds in a perfect location in the Cotes du Rhone area, look no further, this is it. Raised location on a ridge, views west,x east and south, surrounded by vineyards, 2km/1 mile to the lovely town of Vacqueyras. Cycling, wine tasting, sight seeing all right outside the door. Many gourmet restaurants in easy reach, also plenty of tasty casual places. Heated pool, tons of eating space indoor and out. Our hostess was friendly and helpful, whole process very easy and relaxed! The complimentary wine and olive oil from their production was excellent quality. Come and stay!

Superbe endroit, admirablement bien situé : au calme mais les site de visite sont aisément accessibles. Du gîte, on peut fairej de belles balades à pieds ou en vélo à travers les vignes.
