I stopped in Masseret at random, as I was driving down to Occitanie. I arrived late, and during the Covid pandemic, and the receptionist offered me a reasonably priced evening meal in my room, which was delicious. Excellent small hotel and close to where we needed to be for personal reasons. Rooms smart and functional. Breakfast very good and varied with flexible span for taking it. Staff friendly and efficient

Good little place for overnight. Helpful host who offered welcome beer on arrival. Dinner available - a little basic but good value. Very pleasant terrace for food/drink/sitting. Room basic but fine. No toiletries surprised me and of course only public parking.

Very handy stop 1 mile from motorway exit. Pool to cool off the family. Good size of room and bathroom with walk in shower. Food was exceptional for such a small place (@ 20 rooms). Set menu with 1/2/3 course options or à la carte. Breakfast has good choice of self service options, including hot dishes. Reception by owner and his wife as chef means they really are invested in your stay. Add this place to good stops on a drive to/from Spain.

Simply the prefect stopover, beautiful views over the valley, great food, a comfortable bed and a breakfast to start your day right.

Small problem with no twin room being available but other than that staff were very helpful

Absolutely stunning hotel in every way. Superb staff, huge room with really comfortable beds, fabulous views, excellent food. We were a group of 5 and spent 4 nights and would have loved more. The setting is gorgeous, with extensive terraces for lounging around and eating dinner. There's a wonderful heated swimming pool and a tennis court. Lovely hotel, lovely staff and lovely town. Only let down was Expedia who said the booking included ‘free parking’, it didn’t!

Cannot fault this hotel except the shower was hand held in a bath and there wasn’t a shower curtain. Would return if in the area.

From the welcome to departure the hotel was excellent, friendly helpful staff, lovely food, best breakfast excellent value for money. Wish we had longer as we would have loved to have used pool.

We stayed here in July for one night and it was like being invited to a house party. The welcome could not have been friendlier. The accommodation was perfect and the little terrace was bathed with early evening sunshine, very pleasant. The Air con was very welcome later though. We didn't have the evening meal but it smelled delicious!! Breakfast was exactly what we needed. it was ideal and a lovely change from a chain hotel. Thanks, A little Gem!!
