Then you enjoy the evening in front of the crackling fire on the cuddly sofa. This is pure relaxation, well deserved! Lodge Eagle\`s nest is a comfortable chalet (terraced house) with private garden, 2 double bedrooms, 2 shower rooms, open plan living room with kitchen and dining area, wood pellet burner. The bedrooms have good sized double beds, the master bedroom comes with an en suite bath with tub and toilet. The second bathroom come with a walk-in shower. Enjoy your vacation: 2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms kitchen with nespresso coffee machine, filter coffee machine, kettle dining table for 4-6 living room with wood burner furnished terrace free parking shared BBQ area (only available from may to october) ski lift within 500m - easy walking distance lakeview free and powerfull WIFI bread service at Alpengasthof Paletti (order directly in the restaurant) Please note: The bbq area is only available from may to october (depending on snow conditions) and it can only be used with charcoal (no real wood please) There are max. 2 dogs allowed During winter either snow chains or a 4 x 4 are necessary. The mountain road is a paved road and is cleared very well but nevertheless snow chains or a 4 x 4 may be required. The next supermarket and doctor office are both located in the valley at the town centre of Uttendorf which is 17km away. The lake is a reservoir and the water is drained and dammed several times a day to produce electricity. Therefore, unfortunately, it is not allowed to swim in the lake. The water would also be much too cold for bathing, it never rises above 10 degrees. You can splash around a bit, let your feet hang in, etc. you can do it at the upper end where the stream runs into the lake. For swimming, we recommend our great bathing lake in the valley below. Enjoy your summer days with delicious meals on site, SUPs to borrow, a slide and a children's area. Miscellaneous: A hydroelectric power plant is expected to be built in the mountain by 2025\. Please note that the work is being carried out inside the mountain so that our guests in Tauerndorf are not disturbed by noise stemming from any construction activity. We would ask for your understanding and can promise you that you will still enjoy the wonderful mountain world around the Weissee Glacier to the fullest. Wenn man Ruhe und Berge ganz nah erleben will, ist man am Enzingerboden gut aufgehoben. Das Chalet ist sehr schön, sauber und mit allem Nötigen ausgestattet. Das Sofa könnte jedoch etwas hochwertiger sein, es ist mittlerweile etwas durchgesessen, aber ist noch ok. Ansonsten sind die Schlafräume gemütlich und man konnte gut entspannen. Die Lage ist prinzipiell schön, allerdings wirkt die Gegend teilweise wie ein Industriegebiet und die aktuelle sehr große Baustelle verstärkt diesen Eindruck. Sie war sehr sauber und gemütlich eingerichtet. An Utensilien in der Küche hat es an nichts gefehlt. Besondern schön war die Nutzung des Kamins und die Fußbodenheizung. Die Unterkunft ist trotz der derzeitigen Baustelle in der Umgebung sehr ruhig gewesen. Sie ist auch für Hunde sehr gut geeignet, da man direkt um den See laufen kann. Der Service ist wirklich super, Check in Zeiten konnten flexibel gestaltet werden nach Absprache und es war sogar Trinkwasser in Flaschen im Haus gelagert. Alles in einem würden wir die Unterkunft definitiv weiterempfehlen und nochmal buchen. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig und naturgetreu, sie liegt jedoch etwas abseits und man sollte ca. 25 Minuten einplanen , dass es eine kurvige Berghoch/ Abfahrt ist. Unser Allrad Auto war definitiv zum Vorteil. Gestört hat es uns die Lage jedoch nicht sehr. Als Verbesserung würden wir uns wünschen, dass keine weiße Bettwäsche sowie Handtücher verwendet werden. Leider wurden diese sehr schnell schmutzig. Es ist sehr modern eingerichtet und wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Kommunikation war super, es wurde uns ein früher Check-In am Anreisetag ermöglicht, was sehr nett war. Die Wohnung (und die Küche) ist sehr gut ausgestattet mit allem, was man braucht. Wir haben immer selbst gekocht und haben nichts vermisst (es gibt auch eine Nespresso-Maschine und eine italienischen Esspresso-Kocher). Als wir eine Teekanne vermisst haben, wurde diese binnen eines Tages für uns gekauft und ins Haus gebracht. Es gibt eigentlich nur eine Kritik, die wir hatten bzw. etwas, dessen man sich bewusst sein muss: wir waren zu viert vor Ort, 2 Eltern und 2 erwachsene Kinder (18 und 25). Auch wenn die Wohnung für 4-6 Personen angeboten wird, sollte man nach unserer Einschätzung nicht mit mehr als 4 Personen anreisen - sonst müssten weitere Personen auf der Schlafcouch im Wohnzimmer schlafen, wodurch es schon sehr eng würde. Und z.B. der Küchentisch und der Platz in der Küche eignen sich auch kaum für mehr als 4 Personen (Ausnahme: kleine Kinder, das könnte man ggf. machen). Schade ist auch, dass nur in einem der beiden Schlafzimmer ein wirklich gutes Doppelbett steht, obwohl man auch im zweiten Schlafzimmer ein solches unterbringen könnte. Die Matratze ist deutlich dünner als normal und die Unterkonstruktion doch sehr simpel - unsere beiden (großen) Kinder haben nicht gut dort geschlafen, erst als wir zusätzlich Decken und Felle auf die Matratze gelegt haben, war es "ok". Hier würde eine Investition durch die Eigentümer dem Komfort der Gäste sehr entgegen kommen (kleine Anregung :-) ). Sehr angenehm ist, dass es 2 Bäder (einmal mit Badewanne und Duschvorrichtung nebst Duschvorhang, einmal mit geräumiger Dusche) und eine extra Toilette gibt (diese liegt im EG neben dem Eingang) - das ist für solche Ferienwohnungen ein echter Luxus, den wir sehr genossen haben. Leider gibt es aber nur einen zentralen Durchlauferhitzer im Haus - der ist leistungsfähig und daher gibt es immer ausreichend warmes/ heißes Wasser, aber wenn 2 Personen gleichzeitig duschen "nimmt man sich gegenseitig das warme Wasser weg".
