Utsera is a small, linear village located in the Racha region, known for its mineral springs and natural beauty. The main road serves as the backbone of the village, with guesthouses and a few local shops dotted along its length. It's a peaceful setting, surrounded by mountains and forests, offering a true escape from city life.

Couples looking for a relaxing retreat will find Utsera ideal. Many guesthouses offer pleasant views of the Rioni River or the surrounding hills, and the focus is on enjoying the natural environment. You can take leisurely walks along the riverbank or explore the nearby forests.

For those interested in exploring the region, staying within Utsera provides a convenient base for day trips to other parts of Racha, such as Nikortsminda Cathedral or Shaori Lake.

The best time to go to Utsera is during the summer months, from June to September, when the weather is generally warm and suitable for outdoor activities.

During this period, the days are long, and the temperatures are pleasant, typically ranging from 20 to 28 degrees Celsius. This is ideal for exploring the surrounding mountains, hiking to waterfalls, or simply enjoying the natural beauty of the Racha region. While July and August are the warmest, June and September offer slightly cooler temperatures which can be more comfortable for extensive walking.

Couples looking for a romantic and adventurous getaway will find this time perfect. The long daylight hours allow for leisurely hikes through the forested trails to sights like the Utsera mineral springs, and the evenings are mild enough for al fresco dining or stargazing. The lush green landscapes are at their most beautiful, providing a stunning backdrop for a memorable trip.

Families also benefit greatly from a summer visit. The warmer weather makes outdoor activities more enjoyable for children, from gentle strolls along the river to picnics in the meadows.
