What stood out most was the outstanding customer service especially from the young lady receptionist on the evening of our arrival. Our car ferry was delayed by over an hour, putting our arrival well past midnight. The team proactively monitored the messages we sent through Hotels.com, tracked the ferry delay, and had the receptionist waiting to greet us warmly when we finally arrived late at night. That level of care and thoughtful communication made a huge difference to our trip. Highly recommended! Top tip- take an hour visit William the Conqueror's castle nearby at Falaise"

The hotel advertises air conditioning - it does not have A/C!! It has a general 'air cooling system' which doesn't cool the rooms in the slightest. You can't alter the temperature in the room and no cool air comes from the vent. This was confirmed by reception when we reported our 'A/C' not working."
