Amazingly spacious house, close to Whiteface
This house was amazing for our large group of 19- everyone had plenty of place with their own bathroom, the kitchen had 2 of everything, and the kids got to have fun with giant sleepovers in the bunk beds. Close to whiteface but a little far from LP which made the desire to go out to dinner after a long day of skiing tough. Host was great and very communicative. Highly recommend for a ski trip with a large group!

Bisons Hockey Trip
Grand Meadows is a beautiful cabin located no more than 25 minutes from all of the sites Lake Placid has to offer. We stayed here for a hockey tournament at the Olympic Center. Gene and Gala are wonderful hosts, check in was simple, the rentals are loaded with amenities, the scenery is beautiful! The kids loved the playrooms and the hot tubs! They checked in with us regularly to make sure our stay was going well. I can not recommend staying here enough. We will be back! Thank you from the Buffalo Bisons!!

Girl’s Weekend
This house was an excellent choice for our group of 24 women. We enjoyed using this house as a home base for all of the activities we did around Lake Placid. It is a 20 minute drive into town, hiking and the amazing High Falls Gorge. The hot tubs and sauna were perfect after a long day of shopping or hiking. The long dining room table allowed us to all sit together during meals and games. Two of us utilized the EV charger in the garage (Tesla and Plug-in Audi). That was an added bonus to our trip. Gene was an excellent host - always quick to respond to inquiries. We have already booked our 3rd year at this awesome house

Wonderful experience
This house exceeded our expectations! It is just as beautiful as the photos portray. We stayed here with 17 of our family members and we still had plenty of room. Gene was wonderful and the communication from him was great. We WILL definitely be staying here again. We have no complaints at all!

Wedding of our dreams
We stayed at Gene’s place with our friends and family for our wedding. We set up a tent in the backyard and it couldn’t have been more perfect. Gene recommended our caterer, Jonathan, who set up in the garage and kitchen and serviced our wedding phenomenally. We put up the bridal party in the house for 4 nights and everyone raved about how much fun they had. The house was spotless. The amenities were awesome, we never got bored and never even ended up touching the lawn games or other things we had brought to do because the house was full of fun things- Rock Band, the sauna, hot tubs, multiple fireplaces, ping pong table and other games. The kitchen and huge dining room table were the perfect space for our rehearsal dinner and brunch after the wedding. We booked two of Gene’s other properties right near by and our families stayed in those. They all haven’t stopped talking about what a great weekend it was. Highly recommend and if you’re thinking about a wedding- do it, you will not regret it!!

Beautiful Cabin for a Great Weekend
Me and my friends had a wonderful time at Gene’s property. The place is HUGE and immaculately kept. There was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space and plenty of areas (dining room table, porch table, fire pit, fire table, etc.) for everyone to gather and spend time together. Super drivable to Lake Placid and some high peaks. Sauna and hot tubs were also highlights! Gene was super responsive; I got a response to my texts within minutes! Would definitely stay again!

AMAZING!!
Grand Peaks Lodge was stunning! We had 17 family members staying ranging from ages 3-70. There was more than enough room for all of us plus some! The kitchen was a dream! Double everything! It was such a peaceful, relaxing vacation, we had everything we needed without having to leave! Gene was a pleasure to work with, so responsive to any questions we had. We will definitely be returning to Grand Peaks!

Grand Peaks Lodge Visit
Our family of 17 (which included two one year old twins) stayed seven nights at Grand Peaks Lodge. The place is great and provided enough room for our big family. Gene was great to work with and made sure everything was perfect. We hope to come back to Grand Peaks Lodge in the future. Highly recommend.

Great FAMILY -that- Loves -outdoors vacation home
Our family of 12 adults and 11 kids ages1-12 years had plenty of room to spread out for sleeping , spacious kitchen where we all had plenty of room to prepare, cook and eat, fantastic open back yard for lots of fun games and activities, an abundance of hiking trails, and creeks and rivers for playing and fishing. Gene, the homeowner, was kind, efficient, easy to reach by text or phone call, and helpful all along the way. The campfire pit outback provided nightly opportunities for us sit around fire and talk, laugh, play guitar, sing and enjoy special times with our children and grandchildren. In case you choose to hike or fish in an area where Black Flies are present ,Springtime , I’d suggest bringing long-sleeve and net head covering. Lavender seems to repel them for a time as well. The flies were NOT at the house or anywhere in that immediate area though. Great TRIP GREAT HOME

May weekend getaway with girlfriends
23 girlfriends and I had a TERRIFIC weekend away in Upper Jay thanks to Gene and his team. Communication was always open, quick and helpful. The property was in great condition and extremely clean, including both hot tubs and the sauna. This property also had everything we needed, from extra towels, spices, coffee pods, and all the glassware and pots and pans one might need to cook for such a large group. We also benefitted from all the games in the rec room, so fun! Everything was smooth from the very beginning which helped to make the overall experience very enjoyable.

Fantastic, effortless experience
Gene was extremely helpful and really went the extra mile getting us set for our stay. When you plan a get together with a big group with so many moving parts and schedules, the last thing you want is for a complicated rental experience. High Peaks Rentals was a breeze from start to finish. This property is every bit as amazing as it looks. Cozy space, but plenty of room to spread out and enough privacy and comfort for everybody. Every room and amenity is well thought out and designed with big groups in mind, the fire pits, game room and hot tubs were a big hit. Something for everyone to enjoy. It snowed about a foot, and driveway and private road were maintained well. Access to garage bays helped to keep vehicles out of the way for snow maintenance. Beautiful views, and easy drive to Whiteface. We will be back!

Annual Xmas Ski Trip Gift
For Christmas, we take our “children “ (all four married With growing families of their own) away for a ski trip. Last year I found this “to be built” property that sounded too good to be true. It listed 3 master suites (which our two moms with children put dibs on, and of course the largest master for my husband and I) and 5 additional bedrooms with connecting bathrooms. A total of 7 FULL bathrooms and two half bathrooms off the living room area. The kitchen is to die for. It’s actually two complete kitchens with double of every single appliance u could ever dream of. I don’t have enough space here to detail everything this house offers. And the attention to detail the owner had when building this home was over the top. Color palette, texture, comfort, quality of fixtures and materials used, nothing short of what you would dream of if building this home for yourself. We had five family units living so comfortably together. Having a 15 month old and a 5 month old and no one was disturbed or inconvenienced. (I haven’t even mentioned the game Room and den on the lower level with the sauna and two hot tubs). We had 9 adults and the two grandchildren. We have already booked next year and know we will have a third grandchild with us on that trip. Looking ahead, we could have ten more grandchildren and still fit comfortably in this home We have thoroughly been spoiled and cannot imagine staying at anywhere else. Gene was such a gracious host and always available. THANK YOU!

Winter Wedding Weekend at the Lodge
We had a magical experience at the lodge. With our closest family and friends standing around an outdoor fire and misty mountains in the background, we had a simply beautiful wedding ceremony right in the backyard of the lodge. The scenery is so beautiful, no further decorations were needed; the same goes for the interior of the lodge. Everything we wanted and more was inside: convenient double kitchen for larger groups (fully stocked), luxury bathrooms, fun rec room for playing games, sauna to relax in and awesome hot tubs as well. The check in process and communication with the owner has been so easy. We would absolutely love to come back!!

2nd time in paradise!
This is our 2nd time staying at Grand Peaks Lodge. We stayed here in September and got lucky when the week leading into Christmas became available. This time we enjoyed almost 3’ of fresh snow and had a blast inside and outside. The adults really enjoyed the hot tubs and the sauna. The kids had a blast in the rec room. Gene is a wonderful and responsive host who goes above and beyond to ensure his guests get a great family getaway experience. We will be back!!

Winter wonderland!!!
My husband and I, together with our kids and grandkids stayed at Grand Peaks Lodge for a family reunion. We were blessed with over 2’ of fresh snow that fell on the day of arrival. Gene’s crew kept the property clean of snow and even helped us by answering some questions about the property. On the inside, we were in awe from the beauty of this property. We enjoyed dinners tougher and fireplace conversations and everyone had their own bedroom to relax and enjoy some quiet time. The kids has a blast playing games and even PlayStation with Rock Band. This is by far the most luxurious lodge we ever stayed in and we will most definitely be back to this gem.

AMAZING!!
This property is so much nicer than the photos can show. We almost always stay in vacation rentals and this one was the best so far. The house is beautifully appointed and furnished. The kitchen was stocked with so much more than we were expecting. The host, Gene, was very responsive and accommodating! There were 16 of us so we had tons of room to spread out. The hot tubs were so much fun, overlooking the snow. The wraparound deck is very big and would make a great place to hang out during the warmer weather. We had a great time sledding in the backyard during the snow storm :) Would highly recommend and will consider returning. Thanks for the Christmas tree!!!

Nothing short of AMAZING
We have stayed numerous time with High Peaks Rentals and this by far was our favorite stay. The newest house addition is even more amazing than in looks. Not a single detail was overlooked. There is plenty of room for multiple families. With numerous bathrooms and laundry, everyone can have their own personal space. If I could have this kitchen in my own home I would never leave! Thank you for a wonderful time and we are already planning our next trip back!

Beautiful, spacious home for a relaxing trip.
The house was perfect for our family gathering over Thanksgiving. Indoor and outdoor space creates a variety of entertainment options. The kitchen was made for hosting a group and provides more than enough room to cook and hang out. Such a relaxing location and close enough to Lake Placid for an easy trip into town. Gene was amazing throughout the process and ensured we had everything we needed. If you have a large group this property has everything you could want.

Fantastic Family Get Together
The purpose of our trip was a wedding. We had family coming in from Florida, Long Island and Rochester and we all wanted to be together. There was approximately 21 of us ranging from 6yrs old to 80. This home allowed for our group to stay together and spend really good quality time. We came a couple days before the wedding and stayed one day after. The home was the perfect fit for our extended family. It had plenty of private bedrooms and space as well as activities for the kids. Everyone enjoyed the game room and the hot tubs. The kitchen was exactly what we needed to prepare food for a group that size. The fireplaces, both inside and out were beautiful. For our relatives from Florida this was the first time the girls had smores! We had one small issue when we first arrived and all it took was a phoen call and everything was taken care right away. I would highly recommend this place!!! We also enjoyed a trip up the Gondola at WHiteface, just a few minutes away, which was spectatular this time of year. A trip into Lake Placid only took 15 minutes and added to our overall experience.

Outstanding home and owner!
This home is spectacular! Gene thought of everything and left no stone unturned constructing this house. We had 6 adult couples for a week and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the stay. The house is immaculate and equipped with everything you need for a wonderful stay…even spices in the kitchen. We have rented many properties across the country through VRBO and this house is at the top of our list. Gene, the owner/manager is a great communicator and quickly responds to any, and every, email or text. I’m sure all of his properties in the Adirondacks are equally nice. A+++ all around.

Gorgeous Home in the Woods
We were lucky enough to stay in the property in the first few months after it was built. The garage was not finished yet but had zero effect on our stay. The property has everything you could need and the layout makes it perfect if you have multiple groups hanging out in different areas. The basement is perfect for kids, the patio is amazing to few the beautiful sky at night and the living room is great for group movies or football! Gene (our host) always responded instantly and was very clear on what was expected of guests. Thank you for a great experience, everyone had a great time!

Amazing property for a quiet family retreat!
This is an amazing property, located on a quiet street. We rented this home and another one of Gene's adjacent properties for a 30 person family reunion. All of us were getting together to have large family meals and enjoy the yard. At night, we were all retreating to our large bedrooms with our private private baths. Kids had a blast with yard games and rec room activities. We created a lot of family memories here and will definitely return!

Amazing Luxurious Lodge
We are a multigenerational family that have been renting large private homes for years. This year we decided to come to Adirondacks and was lucky enough to book the Grand Peaks Lodge. This property is absolutely stunning. Huge kitchen was perfect for 2 chefs and large dining room comfortably sat our whole family of 23! Star gazing at night on the large deck and retreating to quiet and private bedrooms ... what else can you ask for?!?! This is a gem and Gene was a lovely host. We will be back next year!!!!

Multi-family get away
This property is well thought out. The options for alone time and group time are plentiful. The entire property was designed and appointed for the renter's comfort and enjoyment and most importantly for the number of guests it accommodates. That is to say, the number of beds is supported by an appropriate number of bathrooms, washers and dryers, and a well-appointed kitchen that supports the guest numbers. The kitchen is basically two kitchens in one that allowed for easy food storage, prep, and clean-up for a large group. The number of dishes, silverware, pots, and pans was spot on. Even had some containers for leftovers. The yard is perfect for yard games and a safe place for kids to run around. Very peaceful and beautiful. The attention to detail supported the larger attention-getting items like the hot tubs and sauna room. Our large group thoroughly enjoyed the week at this property.

great family getaway
This was a fantastic rental for many reasons. The house is spacious, beautiful interior, and wonderfully setup for a large group especially the kitchen, room layout and so many well thought out items provided. We had 17 people from teenagers to retirees and the house was perfectly setup for our size and lots of things to do during our mostly rainy stay. Entertainment room, Sauna, two hot tubs and many games kept us having fun. The yard is plenty big enough for games. Fire pit was a hit and the view of the house at night from there is right out of a magazine cover. We are definitely going back!

Luxurious, functional and fun!
The designers of this property really thought about how large groups would use the interior and exterior spaces. Social zones abound, comfortable furniture, amazing double kitchen, game room for adults and kids, movie/video game area, mountain views, crazy bedrooms and bathrooms, 2 hot tubs, sauna, on and on and on. Easy access to hiking and restaurants. We had a blast making memories with family and friends.
