"It’s a cool place built in 1902. The owner and staff were friendly and accommodating.
Our room was spacious with great views
Like most of the town, it could sure use some paint"
"Really wonderful stay overall. Despite the following comments we really enjoyed our stay, our room, the location and great service.
Felt that the lack of air conditioning was a deficit especially in the soon to be warm weather. And the heat lamp/bathroom fan combo in the bathroom a little warm for the summertime but probably marvellous in the cold seasons. Room had a ceiling fan, windows that opened and were screened. Plus an available large circulating fan for our comfort. Having no elevator to the second floor was difficult with heavy luggage but the innkeeper offered assistance which we would not even have considered to impose upon due to our heavy luggage. Parking proved to be easy enough out in front of Inn, fortunately, but neighbouring homes etc could quickly turn to no available parking as they have no dedicated parking. I may be misinformed to the area parking restrictions and property owners designated street parking but by all appearances seemed to be first come first serve. A touch overpriced…..but seemed typical for the time of year and location. It provides a lovely quaint Inn experience. Innkeeper extremely generous of time and meeting our every need in an extremely friendly manner. Wonderful service for a wonderful stay."
