"If you are looking for scenic views of the Oro Valley and Mt Lemmon this is the place to stay. This place is on the top of a hill above Catilina and has an outstanding 360 degree view of the surrounding area. The house is well supplied and very comfortable. The hosts were great and easy to communicate with. You do have to drive up a dirt road to get to this place but it is well maintained so that was not a problem. Just make sure you have good directions to the address as my GPS couldn't find the address correctly. I really enjoyed just sitting on the porch enjoying the views. So if you are looking for a place to relax and unwind I highly recommend this house. "

"The location at the foothills of the mountains was very unique! Nothing like having the desert and the mountains outside your patio!The home had lots of unusual antiques, rock specimens and curiosities!Elma, the host was very hands-on with questions, etc."

"We came from New York, for a week, to literally defrost! We’re also checking out different areas to get away from the cold weather. Tucson is very manageable, and the area where this house is located, is what we’re looking for. This is a lovely place to stay. The views are awesome, the house and grounds are spacious, and it is in a quiet area, on top of a hill. It’s located 5 minutes from a grocery store, and about 45 minutes from downtown. We were fortunate to have amazing weather for the week. It was great to sit out by the pool (too cold except to dunk feet) after any of our off site adventures, and enjoy the sun and views. My husband used the hot tub every day. The host was great and communicated easily. I didn’t read something carefully, and she walked me through the steps. Leave time after checking out, in case you’re headed to the airport, as you will have to drop off the garbage. There is a fee of 25 plus tax. It’s about a mile away. All in all, we had a fabulous stay, and are looking to return next year. "
