We got exactly what we paid for, which was a budget hotel experience. Hotels in Bamberg always seem to be so expensive on weekends.
Room was clean and adequate. Was it comfortable? I thought it sufficed but my husband did not. Was the room stylish? No. It looked like a cross between Burger King and IKEA. The toilet is in a closet and the shower stall was in the room itself. I could live with it (this was budget, not bougie) but my husband kept commenting he felt he was in a McDonald’s Playland. In order to save my marriage we left a little early and moved on to the next city.
Do I recommend this hotel? I do. Just understand not everyone in your party will feel the same.
