Vila Nova Hotel is a really solid option, especially for a traveler spending most of their time going off on adventures. The location is good, parking is convenient, the pool is well maintained and the breakfast is decent.
My advice to to hotel management: Consider updating some of the decor. I looked it up, and the hotel is built in the early 2000s, and it looks it. I think you wouldn't have to spend much time to significantly upgrade the feeling of the place.
My thanks to all the staff, we had a great time staying there and exploring the island.
