  • Welcome to my Long Island oasis, a lot of thought was put into the space. I designed and decorated the space for myself and decided to share it when am away. Beautiful decor clean bright simple no clutter hotel style sheets and pillows sealy Posturepedic foam cooling mattresses in all rooms. Why book a hotel room when you can have an entire 2 bedroom home for less or the same price offering you more space, flexibility and freedom. Chic minimalist design. This is a 2 bedroom apartment with a front home entrance into the first floor living room dining area and small but full kitchen then stairs takes you to the 2nd floor which takes you to the 2 full bedrooms and bathroom which houses a stackable washer dryer and hallway closet. Close to many of Nassau County's most popular attractions Rosevelt Field Mall is close by so many restaurants around walk to the Starbucks McDonalds and chipotle . Enjoy easy access to the LIRR, Jones Beach State Park, walk to Hofstra University, Nassau Community College, Nassau Coliseum and the Cradle of Aviation Museum & Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center

Good short term stay.

Beds were comfy, easy checkin. Only issue we had is the bedroom doors lock when you shut them and we weren’t given the code so had to contact the housekeeper to get code. Great cold AC.

Rosie's place was great for our weekend visit to Long Island! The beds were super comfy and the neighborhood was nice and walkable. It was also so great not to have to think about parking. We would definitely visit again.

First time using Vrbo. Initially took me time to realize there was touch pad for the code. That was my bad. After that, everything was easy and clean. Reminders of the rules on the walls. Tastefully. Small kitchen with everything you need. Upstairs floors can be slick with socks on be careful but overall the stay was amazing. Big and comfy beds. Multiple the for the kids and us. A great find in a good neighborhood.

Convenient location near Hofstra while visiting our daughter. Small, cozy bungalow that was clean and nicely decorated. Off street parking is appreciated in this busy little neighborhood. Everything was ready and served our group of 5 adults well for a weekend stay.

Jones Beach Stay

My family stayed at this property for my triathlon at Jones Beach. Very easy to access the beach area- less than 20 min drive. Host was very responsive when I had questions about the property. Clean and exactly like the listing- would definitely recommend!

Cute and Cozy

We had a great 5-day stay in this cute place and were able to have a great visit with our daughter while working remotely. We had issues checking in which were resolved with Rosie beyond our expectations. Kitchen was fully stocked for cooking and the WiFi was speedy! Off-street parking was a plus!

We had a good time there and Rosie was a very kind host. There was a situation with the washbasin, but Rosie took action immediately. My advise is to check the pipes from the heating system, because they are noisy. Also, we needed some oil for cooking and Rosie solved our need very quickly. Thank you very much Rosie! I highly recommend this property, have a nice day

Our issue was the host being non-responsive. We were told we would receive supplemental check in information three days in advance of the rental but did not. And then multiple attempts to reach the host to clarify what would be provided and when over the ensuing days went unanswered, both by us and by Vrbo staff. This forced Vrbo to cancel our reservation and direct us to find emergency accommodations within a few hours of our scheduled check in as the host continued to be non-responsive up to a few hours before check-in. Thereafter the host reached out and apologized, noting it was her policy to provide an access code with associated check in information just 1 hr before the check-in time which would normally be fine but that was not clearly reflected on the listing. Nor does it explain why multiple days and multiple attempts by both us and Vrbo to reach the host went completely unanswered.
