"If I could give Tamassa Hotel and its incredible team 100 stars instead of 10, I would!
We recently hosted my son's wedding reception at Tamassa, and calling it "memorable" would be a massive understatement,
From the very beginning, the coordination via email has been seamless. We needed a quick turnaround, and the team stepped up without skipping a beat. The mind-blowing organization took all the stress off our shoulders. Every single detail was handled with precision, creativity, and flawless execution.
What truly sets Tamassa apart, though, is the staff. The level of courtesy, warmth, and genuine care we experienced from every team member was unmatched.
The staff was constantly one step ahead of our needs, making sure we and our guests were completely taken care of.
Their expert advice on layout, flow, and touches we hadn't even thought of elevated the entire event. It was the bride's first trip to Mauritius. Tamassa hotel did everything to give a great first impression.
Our guests were amazed by the service.Thank you to the entire Tamassa family for pouring your hearts into the newly married couple's special day and making it an unforgettable celebration.
If you are thinking about hosting an event or wedding here do not hesitate. They are truly the best in the business!
We will have a lot to share with our friends in Canada when we get back home."
"I loved how eco conscious the property was, refillable toiletries, water stations and paper straws only!
The beach was lovely, staff at boat house really helpful. The food was al a carte and lots of vegetarian and fish options which we liked. The drinks are on the expensive side but I think they good value for quality food makes up for this. We did full board and I would reccomend it. You can see there are some minor things to iron out like I didn’t like trying to be sold on booking dinner at the chefs table restaurant all the time. We used the spa on the last day even with discount this is pricey but the full body massage was amazing!"
"We stayed just one night before catching our flight, and it was perfect. The home is calm and only about 10 minutes from the airport, which made things so convenient. The room was spotless, with wonderfully cool air conditioning, fresh towels, and a lovely walk‑in shower. I especially appreciated how safe it felt, the owner provided a remote key for the gate so we could come and go securely. The bed was incredibly comfortable and of great quality, making it easy to rest before our travels. Overall, a clean, safe, and cozy stay that I’d happily recommend."
"Excursions bookable at main desk, clean private beach, money can be exchanged at front desk but only select currencies (no INR) generally good and pleasant vibes"
"We stayed at this hotel on our first visit to the island of Mauritius.
We booked this as on the beach plus linked to a golf course
The hotel has various restaurants which are included but get them booked in as popular
Wonderful hotel and staff can’t do enough to make your holiday special
Will return in the future for sure"
"We enjoyed our week-long stay at Seasense and would give it a 4.5 score if we could. This small 63-room adult-only boutique hotel is beautifully designed and the rooms are well appointed. Service is friendly and attentive, but can be slow at mealtimes. The exclusive beach is quite small and shallow but fine for a splash or a snorkel. The pretty à la carte restaurant is right by the sea, and there was no shortage of loungers, including with shade. The small pool is heated and lovely for a quick dip. The modest spa and sauna is a nice touch. Two issues however. First, noise from the road: the hotel is sandwiched on a small strip or land between the main coast road and the sea. More importantly, we found the food quite variable: occasionally excellent, always presented beautifully, but often bland and under-seasoned and cold. A shame given the reputation of Mauritian cuisine. Also, half the menu items (and nearly all the fish options) are subject to hefty supplements. The buffet night (combined with a free cocktail party for guests) was however enjoyable."
