The older hotel spans three buildings with a nice medieval-style exterior. Inside, the decor is simple yet clean, and our room was spotless, complete with fresh linens and towels. Amenities like the arcade and indoor pool were clean and well-maintained. Parking was easy, and the location is quiet, despite being a short drive from the Strip. Our room rates were also very reasonable. The hot breakfast was average, but it offered a good variety, including eggs, meat, waffles, and cereal. Tables weren't cleaned between guests, though, and the trash bin was allowed to overflow. Unfortunately, the service was the biggest letdown. Besides the friendly check-in and checkout clerks, most staff were indifferent and not welcoming. That would be a deterrent to my possible return.
