"You get what you pay for. It is close to not so developed areas so you do need to walk around 5 minutes to get to the beach. Food is ok, gym is a joke, a lot of lizards but thats out of their control. Overall not a bad place if your looking for a hotel less than $100 a night,"

Kwanza Resort By SUNRISE

10/10 Excellent

"We had the most amazing honeymoon stay at Kwanza Resort! ❤️ From start to finish, everything was absolutely perfect and made our honeymoon so special and memorable. The resort was beautiful, the atmosphere was relaxing, and the service was exceptional. All the staff were so kind, welcoming and attentive, always making sure we were comfortable and well looked after. Their warmth and hospitality really made a difference to our experience. A special mention to the beautiful honeymoon and birthday decorations! 🥹❤️ They were so pretty and thoughtfully done, making our stay feel even more special. It was such a lovely touch and made our celebrations extra memorable. As someone who is vegetarian, I was especially pleased with the variety of vegan and vegetarian food options available. There was a great selection of delicious food, and it was wonderful to have options to enjoy throughout our stay. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate the beginning of our married life together. Thank you to the entire Kwanza Resort team for making our honeymoon so unforgettable. We made such beautiful memories here and would absolutely recommend this resort to anyone looking for a romantic getaway! 🌴✨ **Thank you, Kwanza Resort, for making our honeymoon so amazing! We would love to come back again!** ❤️"

JAZ Amaluna - Adults Only 16+

8/10 Good

"Overall the experience was positive. We arrived at midnight and staff was still readily available to assist. They even left a late night snack in our room upon arrival. If you are seeking a more laid back resort, it certainly fits the bill. I hoped for more activities available on site. The resort went into quiet mode after 10pm. Also I noticed they had a notification board for information but having daily itineraries either available in print in the room or on the tv would have been helpful. Despite the staff being overall helpful, it did appear to be perferential treatment towards certain guests. On more than one occasion I sat in the dining room awaiting acknowledgement and service while other guests who arrived after me received prompt service. The rooms were well maintained and our room attendant decorated our bed daily which was appreciated. I wished snacks were available late night. Having 24 hour bar service with no food options was a disappointment. The daily buffet selections were nice. Special shout out to our tour guide Ali, and bar attendant Anderson."

Melia Zanzibar

10/10 Excellent

"My stay at this resort was absolutely amazing! From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warm hospitality, professional service, and a beautiful, relaxing atmosphere. The rooms were luxurious, clean, and comfortable, with excellent attention to detail. The food was delicious, the facilities were outstanding, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure every moment was special. The resort offers the perfect combination of luxury, comfort, relaxation, and unforgettable experiences. I highly recommend this resort to anyone looking for a world-class getaway. Truly a five-star experience, and I would definitely love to return!"
