Abundant Light with Hot Tub, King Bed, and Wood stove-18 Minutes to Sunday River

"Beautiful cabin, perfect location for a family getaway. We had stayed in Bridgton previously and decided to head a little further north. Tom’s cabin did not disappoint! He was a great host, communicative with wonderful recommendations. We hiked Bucks Ledge and swam at Step Falls. My daughter and I used Toms paddle boards on Round Pond to fish and find our moment of Zen. All in all, the total rest and recharge our family was seeking. The hot tub was a wonderful bonus! The kids already asked to come back up again. (Don’t forget to get breakfast and freshly baked bread at The Local Hub! It was incredible!)"

"Perfect little cabin for our 1st vacation with a toddler and dog. Very quiet and peaceful despite being near a boat launch and the random train passing by (only once). Easy renting and great communication. Would rent again!!"

"Property was perfect. Power went out in the area due to a storm and we didn’t miss a beat with the automatic back up generator. Everyone else in the area was out of power but we were perfectly fine. Best deal in those mountains bar none."

"A beautiful house that was a pleasure to visit! I especially enjoyed the convenient access to canoes / a kayak; our group members could essentially go out on the lake on a whim, which was incredible. The common spaces were also excellent for accommodating a large group, with extra ovens in the kitchen, and an incredible amount of dining room table space that I haven't seen available for other properties.There were a few signs of this being an older house; lack of sound isolation, uneven floors, a missing ceiling tile in one place. But I expect that these would be true of other comparable locations, and I was pleasantly surprised that there wasn't a bug issue, given how close we were to the lake. We also saw upon arrival that there was one fewer bed than advertised; the owner explained that a bed frame was damaged. However, we were still able to make use of the mattress, so this was fine. The steam room was also not working, though the owner did call a repair person to try to fix it. Overall I found the owner to be fairly responsive and pleasant to interact with."

"This was the perfect little cabin for our two night stay for a cousin's wedding. It was close enough to the amenities of Oxford, yet far enough away to enjoy the quiet. Hearing the loons is such a nice way to wake up and drink your coffee. Everything was clean, organized and informative. We took the canoe out on the pond a couple times and it was so nice to float around a bit on the pond."

"The home was as advertised, super clean, and well appointed with everything you need. The views are incredible and sitting on the dock was so relaxing. We unfortunately had rain, but still enjoyed our time there. Katie is responsive and helpful. Will definitely consider it again."
