"The bathtub was not clean and had to be cleaned and refilled with hot water because there was grime floating in the bathtub.
The staff was very helpful, and worked very hard to find a place that would be open when many supermarkets were closed early during the mid summer eve.
They also worked very hard to find out the bus schedule for the airport when we had a problem with the bus schedule for the mid summer holiday.

"Clean, comfortable, great for families with Big Kids Too! My only complaint is the continuous, noisy fan in the bathroom. We kept the door shut to cut down on the noise. It wasn't until our last day that we discovered how to turn the fan off. The switch was in a cupboard in the kitchen. A switch in the bathroom would have been helpful. Overall, we had a great experience."

Lite krångligt med spa, behövde betala och få grejer i receptionen för att sen ta sig upp till spat men fick inga tofflor eftersom de var slut och badrocken var lagom till mig som är 160 cm lång men för alla längre än det var de mycket små. "Hotel Uman is a fantastic hotel. We stayed two separate nights on our way to and from Finland. Nice quiet rooms with all the amenities. Lower level garage is very convenient and safe. Hotel Uman is within walking distance of all Umeå museums, university, river walk, shopping and ferry to Vaasa Finland. The food is excellent (breakfast and dinner) and both are free! The staff is superior---very friendly and accommodating. Hotel Uman is the place to stay in Umeå."
