We checked in for the long weekend and it was just spectacular! The location the views and above all the hosts. They made us feel at home and literally took care of us throughout.
I would highly recommend this place for a short trip or even if you are looking to get married as they have done up their new barn now!

Stunning place
Everyone there was so very friendly from start to finish with nothing being too much trouble. The cottage was extremely clean, well maintained and comfortable, The pool table was a nice addition and the cottage had its own lit Christmas tree and decorations which really added to the ambience of our trip. This is a great place to stay and even better for weddings with the addition of Bruce and Holly the Highland cow (both so super cute). There’s an excellent bar with local brews on draught and a nice sized room that was dressed for Christmas and looked amazing!

A perfect Christmas
It was the first time spending Christmas away with the kids, I took a risk as was a minimum if a 4 our car journey with 2 kids, 3 dogs and 2 adults to fit in the car along with luggage, presents and food for only 3 nights including Christmas day. But it was so worth it, the farm and landscape was stunning with amazing walks and a beautiful little house for us to stop in.
The family were amazing, they were more than happy to take my kids around the farm to meet the animals, including a 6 day old highland cow which was amazing (holly the baby highland was a delight but Bruce the Highland was definitely my favourite). The family were more than happy to do anything for you. The surroundings were stunning and the beach of instow nearby was a great beach to take the kids and dogs onto.
Highly recommend, was worth every penny.
The stables is tucked away in the middle of nowhere which was perfect and what we were after. Quiet throughout, property was spacious, had everything you’d expect and need, even some doggy treats. Hosts were friendly and chatty we had a lovely time and even managed to watch the sunset from the comfort of the hot tub. What could be better, games room was not in the stables which wasn’t clear on the website but open throughout and we got plenty of use. Nice walk with the dogs down the woods, they loved it too, met holly the highland cow who was very friendly. It is usually a wedding venue and you can see why it was a beautiful spot and well done.
