Umber Lake

There was an absolutely beautiful breakfast every morning with a large variety of foods, juices, coffee & tea. The staff was very friendly. The only issue that came up was the lack of new clean towels...(when we did ask for one it had a dead insect skeleton on it but when brought to the attention of the cleaning lady she promptly brought us fresh towels still warm from the dryer.) One other issue was when we were getting ready to check out, we lifted the wet towels from the floor(they weren't collected the day before) and put them in the tub, there was live insect under the towels. We killed it of course and left it for cleaning staff to see. I googled it, it was NOT a bed bug, it was a larder beetle. Harmless but not pleasant to find in our room. Also the bathroom fan didn't work. Overall, the staff, breakfast & the hotel appeared very clean...(other than the insect problem).
