Just around the corner from Can Brow is the estate grounds, an open rolling field spanning across the central Estate where you will find peace and silence away from it all. Beyond this, you can find ‘The View’, which is an iconic Estate Walk which is short but still with incredible tabletop views of the Estate and across the surrounding valleys. An incredible spot for a picnic or proposal alike! The Graythwaite Home Farm Courtyard truly is the beating heart of the Estate – accessed via the iconic and enchanting trail bordered with cheery blossom trees, you are truly entering a very special place. Here, you will be less than a mile from the shores of Lake Windermere where you can enjoy the peace and serenity of the lake without the hustle and bustle, or even book in an action-packed activity with the star-studded Graythwaite Adventure. The Courtyard is within easy reach of our fabulous facilities, such as the communal heated swimming pool which can be booked in advance of your stay and the home farm shop offering locally produced products. You are also able to pre-order groceries and treats from the shop to be ready in your property for you when you arrive!
