The cottage is set in a quiet little village with plenty of country walks, a great pub with lovely food and a farm shop. It’s lovely for relaxing and enjoying the peace and quiet of the countryside, yet a great base for visiting local attractions and the southern lakes! We shall definitely return! Very clean and well equipped kitchen considering that it’s quite small. Downstairs is small but it has everything you need and a wonderful original fireplace for a fireplace on colder nights. The cottage was perfectly equipped for all our needs and we had a very comfortable stay. The owner, Jean, was very welcoming and nothing seemed too much trouble for her when we had occasion to trouble her. It was our first time visiting the property this year and I’ve no doubt we’ll be back. The welcome is warm but unobtrusive, the accommodation well-appointed. It is cosy and don't expect to write a novel while gazing out of the window.
