Smelled of smoke. Room was dingy.

The room was poorly renovated. Holes in the walls. Messed up flooring. Bathroom was dirty. And the room smelled of smoke even though it was a non smoking room. Staff was polite. But accommodations were crap. The place looks nothing like the photos on Expedia.

Pros: price
Cons: finish the remodel.
Location: shopping and parks for dog walking close by.
The hotel seems to be in the middle of an upgrade, consequently there were a few thing missing like fan covers etc. but all in all it was nice and quiet, the rooms were very roomy with comfy seating, mini fridge, microwave and coffee machine.

Good place to stay

The room was spacious and clean. We were traveling with a pet. Expedia said the pet fee was $10, yet when I got there they said it had changed to $20. Even though I showed them the Expedia listing they would not budge. Also, next morning I got reprimanded by the staff for taking coffee and breakfast to our room so I could have breakfast with my husband. They said that each person has to come in for breakfast, that no take our were allowed. That's a first....

Horrible from start to finish

Cockroaches, and ants in the room, dirty run down, holes in the curtains, burn marks in the toilet seat. Just plain gross. They wouldn't let me check in without charging my credit card an additional $50 for "incidentals". I felt bad for the people that work there. They were very nice, and offered to spray our room, but offered no other resolution. This facility is incredibly run down despite a REALLY bad remodel. I would NEVER recommend this hotel.

Pros: sound proof walls
WIFI still doesn't stay connected on smart phone at late night. Don't know their problem. Paid $50 cash deposit for non smoking room liability, refunded. Don't use credit card for that, could have $1250 liability if they say they smelt smoke in room.

We indeed impose charges to guests who were found smoking in our non-smoking room to cover for the expense on thorough cleaning. We offer competitive price in our hotel and this cost would affect us financially aside from complaints we would receive from other guests. I hope for your kind understanding. BED BUG HEAVEN

All of the photos are false and very old. Mendocino County building dept. has shut down any construction on this motel! Due to UNSAFE practices and hiring unlicensed contractors. I would not let my dog stay there!!!!! I did talk to the building dept. ant the County and they apologies for not being able to WARN people form staying at that motel. Of course they would not give me a refund. I DID NOT STAY THERE, BUT NO REFUND...... GO to the Travelodge or Day's Inn instead.

Don't let the pictures fool you.

This place is a dump. It looks like they are working on it and trying ro fix it up but no where close. Wierd that there was no carpet in the room. Staff was very rude and cold and didn't speak English in front of us. Just a wierd place. Won't be going back.
