Das Haus ist klein aber fein.Es hat alles notwendige um 5 Personen zu beherbergen.Vermieter ist sehr hilfsbereit und gibt auch gern den einen oder anderen Tipp. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig und ideal für Fahrradtouren. "Det luktade svartmögel främst i stora sovrummet samt var unken lukt i hela stugan. Detta märktes på kvällen/natten då fönster och dörrar hade stängts. Många mycket personliga ägodelar såsom bla fotografier på olika personer satt på väggarna. Värden på plats hade åsikter om att vi kom i dyra sportbilar som det uttrycktes samt var bitter över att det var mycket jobb att sköta boendet. Vi upplevde inte att bemötandet var i positiv anda som vi brukar få på alla andra boenden som vi haft genom...

"The house has plenty of space , a bathroom with all needed comfort, a kichen whit lot of space and well equiped.There is a large patio with sunny place and shadow.Some of the beds could have better matresses. The envirement is very peacefull, there is a little harbour where there is a rowing boat at your disposition. You can do nice excurcions: Kalmar, north and sud of Oland, Borgholm, Pataholm, old ruine just outside Monsterras. We will come back!"

"Wonderful hotel in a great location just down the street from Kalmar Castle and the train station. Shops and restaurants within a five minute walk. Room was clean, comfortable, cozy, and nicely appointed. Warm breakfast was served in the hotel restaurant. The hotel staff was absolutely amazing, very friendly and hospitable. I can’t emphasize enough how welcoming the staff was. I will definitely be staying at Slottshottelet next time I visit Kalmar. It truly felt like a home away from home."

"The staff were life-savers! They are all so friendly. All speak English very well. Check in is different from an American chain so plan ahead to be in hotel restaurant by 20:00, or make easy arrangements. The room was so quaint and beautiful. Breakfast was so traditional. I loved it. I've missed Kalmar and it was good to make a visit back and stay at this lovely place. "
