"Unfortunately I am not able to review Dil Lanka Safari Resort, because when we arrived, the manager was very surprised to see us and said that he had no booking from us (three people, two rooms). The directions are also unclear, even if you use googlemaps. The property is new and in great condition. However, there are things that could be better, especially the food. The bathroom has hot water though there is some water leakage. A great experience stay but could be better."

"Lovely hotel with great staff and a beautiful location. The breakfast was excellent - possibly the best chicken curry I’ve had in Sri Lanka. The only downside is that is quite far from the centre of Ella - and getting a Tuk-Tuk through PickMe was almost impossible - meaning I had to pay at least twice as much to flag one down."

"Stayed 2 nights in August. Spacious hotel with plenty to explore, we wished we'd had more time to make the most of all the facilities. Had a small hiccup with our room allocation at check-in, but the team resolved it quickly and professionally. Food was a highlight - great buffet breakfast with a wide selection, and good options across the various restaurants on site. We also played 18 holes of golf; the caddies were professional, polite and added a lot to the experience. Would recommend for a relaxing stay with plenty of facilities to enjoy, just make sure you allow enough time to see it all."
