Enjoy this peaceful sanctuary as a work from home or staycation. This private, 1 bedroom suite with use of cedar wood throughout is perfect for one or two adults but can sleep 3 ($20/person/night).
Ground floor of house with your own separate entrance and parking spot. Includes small kitchen, separate bath, living space & adjoining bedroom with queen bed. BBQ, cedar sun deck, your own private Hot Tub & Wood Sauna & outdoor shower. Minutes walk from the Wild Pacific Trail and stunning beaches! 30 min drive from Tofino. Dog friendly for up to two small dogs or 1 medium size dog but pls request before booking ($25/visit). Hike, surf and swim the trails and beaches, golf and come back to a hot tub and sauna! Amazing stay in great location

We absolutely loved our stay, the location was perfectly close to everything we wanted to see but so quiet and peaceful, it felt like being at an exclusive spa while we were staying. We were traveling as a family of three with our four year old and he loved having his own space with the day bed in the living room and we enjoyed having our own space to enjoy inside or outside once he was asleep. Can’t recommend this spot enough and would go back anytime we’re in the area!

Favourite Sweet Retreat

We love this property! Having a wood fired sauna AND a hot tub is such a nice treat, especially during the last storm cycle. Super cozy and Penny was gracious enough to leave dog treats and things for our puppy. We will be back!

Lovely stay in the perfect town

The forest retreat was minutes walk to the shops and restaurants in Ucluelet, and to Little Beach. We loved the hot tub and sauna, plus the decks were all well furnished and landscaped. The welcome basket and treats for our dog were appreciated!

Cozy little spot in a beautiful village

Stayed for 3 nights, first time to Ucluelet. The accommodation was very nice. Bed was a bit small and the quarters are tight but well laid out and appointed. Outdoor area was lovely. Hot tub was really hot and such a treat. Hosts were super.

Perfect Getaway

From the initial booking, ongoing communication, and a thorough and clear welcome package, this little retreat was the perfect getaway! Quiet and private, clean and well stocked with a bunch of little goodies! Hot tub was clean and nice to relax in after being chilly all day in the ocean and on the trails. Would recommend this location for couples or small family, and would definitely stay here again!

The place is absolutely unbelievable.We were a family of 4(2 adult boys) and were very comfortable.Inside is very charming and provides all amenities you need.The outside is well set up.The sauna and jacuzzi tub is very nice to come home to after your day of exploring. The only downfall is that we were not there long enough.We will be back for sure and this GEM is highly recommended.

Beautiful Uke

Trevor and Penny are the consummate hosts - they thought of everything to make our stay unforgettable. The amenities (bedroom, seating area, bathroom) wonderful. The hot tub and sauna amazing, including several outdoor seating areas. We were able to charge up our EV on arrival and wished that we’d brought our dog to enjoy all of the treats and thoughtful gestures left to our disposal.

It's Truly a Forest Retreat

This place truly lives up to its name as a forest retreat! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed. The space is equipped with every amenity one could wish for, making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We particularly loved the vibe of the property, and its proximity to the charming town of Ucluelet was a bonus. The nature hike paths nearby are a must-visit, showcasing the area's breathtaking beauty. 2 Night Stay With Our Dog

The stay at this VRBO was absolutely deluxe. Every detail was thought of from a fresh bowl of water for our dog upon arrival to a welcome sign with our name and fresh flowers. There was a wonderful bottle of local white wine cold in the fridge and snacks. Cupboards were full of everything. Didn't want for anything. Lots of towels. The property looks like the online photos. Beautiful! Lots of private space with hot tub and sauna!! Bed was comfy. Location was close to beaches walking. Great place to stay!! Friendly hosts without being intrusive. Would stay again!!

Little oasis

What a great little gem, my first reaction when entering through the gate into the courtyard was to smile. The secluded outdoor space, complete with a charming hot tub and sauna, was impeccably maintained. Inside was equally inviting and spotless. Accommodating four of us - mom, dad, and two teenagers - was a breeze. The pullout bed took up a bit of space once extended but as that was only at bedtime, it was a non-issue for us. The hosts went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, with thoughtful touches such as a welcoming basket of treats and a cheerful birthday banner for our son. Our stay was thoroughly enjoyable from start to finish.

My husband and I came to Ucluelet for a weekend getaway. The Forest Sweet Retreat was the perfect little oasis. The place was cozy, clean and thoughtfully stocked with all the amenities. The private hot tub and wood burning sauna were highlights for us after a long walk on the Wild Pacific Trail with our dogs, which we could access by walking from the property. The hosts Penny and Trevor we very hospitable and responsive. We will definitely be back again!

Excellent retreat in the heart of Uclulet!

Penny and Trevor's place was beautiful and exactly as described - we had an excellent time lounging in the hot tub, and it was conveniently located by local restaurants and to hike the Wild Pacific Trail. Would gladly stay again!
