It was absolutely superb. A warm greeting awaited me & the accommodation was very clean& comfortable. Wayan went out of his way to ensure my stay was really ‘home from home’

This place is a dump.... very cheap in a great location.... only 1 electrical outlet in the entire room... don’t be deceived by the nice picture of the bed! VERY OLD rooms in a great need of updating... The breakfast options are minimal and we didn’t bother to eat what they served.... We booked fot 4 nights, but left after the first night... if you are on a VERY tight budget and want to be in a great part of town you may want to stay here....otherwise look elsewhere...

First off I love Ubud, Bali. Everyone I’ve come across have been kind and friendly. Pros Great location, budget friendly price and breakfast included Cons Moldy smelly room although they use coffee to cover it. You can see the mold in the bathroom and in the comforter/blanket. Bed sheets and towels have different stains on them... even under the sheets on the bed bc I showed the lady and she kindly changed it right away. I helped her and saw more brown stains underneath. I don’t even want to guess what that is and how Long it’s been there. Since it was non refundable but wasn’t a pricey place I count my loses and got another room that night. I had gotten decent and clean rooms for around the same price. Guess I just caught a bad one. I’ll be back in Ubud for sure but wouldn’t stay here ever I tried to upload photos but it keeps taking me out of this review.

I had booked for two days but ended up staying four. I felt I could not have found a better place. The homestay is in the most central area almost next to the market and right on the main street. I was in room 5 which is in the back, very quiet and with the sweetest terrace with an amazing view of the rooftops. Sometimest it was hard for me to leave. The service was great. They offered to clean the room and change the towels every day, every day they asked me at what time I wanted breakfast and served it on my table on the terrace knocking at my door to wake me up. My room had both a quiet fan and AC. I never had to use the AC because in March it was never that hot. The room and terrace were very clean and the wifi in room 5 was the best I had in two months travelling. I had the luxury of streaming movies on my computer. They have 4 rooms upstairs, two in the front and two in the back. Make sure you ask for an upstairs room because the room downstairs that I was shown at first when I arrived had no windows. I was also very happy to be on the main street. When it rained hard it was super easy to get out and find a huge variety of nice restaurants. Also, having seen the macmasions in construction in the rice fields I felt that I had a much smaller footprint and did not contribute to the distruction of wonderful Ubud.

Hotel quality services also, warm service like home stay. Located central Ubudo, tasty breakfast, AC, hot water and no chicken noise. I had a very good stay, thank you so much!

We really enjoyed our stay at The unique homestay. It’s a cute little place, with an amazing view of the city. The breakfast was simple but good every morning and the owner is really nice and helpful.
