Better than expected because they have refurbished since the property photos were taken. Basic room but clean and comfy. Stunning view of the waterfalls from our window. Bathroom door handle was loose and squeaky.

This was a good place to stay. A bit old, but maintained okay. The area is so beautiful it is worth it. We were a bit unlucky staying in the classic rooms during a hot day; the room got really cold and we had to leave the window open, outside there were a lot of buses for the boat tours that depart from there. It cooled for the night.

Great location, boutique type feel

I booked the hotel because it was the least expensive option. The only other choice was $1000 a night. This hotel was $600 a night. Yes, breakfast and dinner are included, but dinner is a set menu so if you don’t like what they’re serving, you were kind of out of luck. It was fine, but nothing great. The room itself was one of the worst I’ve ever stayed in, ever. It was tiny, even by European standards, with hardly any space to put luggage or unpack. The bathroom was the size of a half bath with a sink and a toilet in their normal spots and the shower right between them. When you took a shower, it flooded the entire bathroom, even though there is a weird plastic protector, it does nothing to stop the water from shooting out all over the place. The positive reviews seem to be about the view , and yes it is lovely from out on the front patio. But the view is pretty lovely from anywhere in Flom, as long as there isn’t a big cruise ship docked! The only reason I gave this hotel two stars is because they were nice enough to let me have breakfast at their sister property because I had an early train out and I was gonna miss the buffet at the hotel. Otherwise it would have been one star
